I simply heart the designs of baby clothings from OldNavy and GAP. Though GAP is now available in Singapore, but I realised that there are many designs available in the States can't be found in the Singapore outlets. So, the only way to get them is to order online. Well, was browsing thru the website and found lotsa lovely hoodies outerwear for baby which is soooo cute. Who says baby boy's clothing ain't as cute as those for baby girls? Hehehe =D ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The hoodies outerwear are soOOo cute right? But I think Baby will look better in them when he grows older. LOL.. Furthermore, I doubt the material is suitable for Singapore's weather? Hmm.. ![]() This bodysuit is very nice too but now only available in size for newborn - 3mths. Its too small for baby. I wanna get sizes above 6mths. The other 3 bodysuits I bought the other time seems a bit too small, although I bought 3mths -6 mths. The american sizes are weird, for babies!~ ![]() This is so cute too! I like.. but the price not too "friendly" eh.. ![]() This looks casual but sadly, only left with sizes for 18 mths onwards... *duh* Mum helped to do the 3rd washing today for baby's pants/pyjames and rompers. Upon seeing the little pants hanging up there, I can't help but to gigge non-stop. Baby's clothings is soOoo small & cute lor. LOL.. Oh ya, and I realised I've got stretch marks already. Although not many but still they are visible. Well, I'd never thought of getting rid of them anyway since having stretch marks during pregnancy is very normal. Lately I'd been tagged almost everyday on my tagboard and added to the MSN. I am glad to have more friends, especially all Mummies and MTBs jus like me to share some 妈妈经。hehehe.. you ladies are great and I look forward to chat with you whenever I can =) Labels: Baby Stuffs Wednesday, July 30, 2008 Done with the 2nd washing of baby's clothing today. Mum helped to bring out the tops, handkerchieves, mittens & botties to wash since the weather was pretty good. It took about ½ a day for all of them to dry, probably because they are small and thin? LOL.. Anyway, its really cute to see small size clothings hanging on the bamboo sticks. Hubby & I got all excited upon seeing baby's clothing hanging high up there. Hehehe.. So I grabbed my camera and took snaps of them. So cute!! ![]() A dozen of handkerchieves and ½ a dozen of mittens & botties ![]() These are just part of them. We have not start washing his rompers and bottoms yet. I believe Baby can feel me now. Whenever I place my palm on my tummy, he will move towards the direction of my palm and start wriggling, flipping and moving. Many times I tried to take videos of the fetal movements but he will stop doing that. And whenever I switch off my camera, he will start his kicking again. I reckon he's really shy or simply doesn't want anyone to peep at him, just like my monthly checkup when Dr Chan wasn't able to capture him on 3D & 4D scan. Speaking of which, I managed to catch a glimpse of the repeated 都市大发现 last night at about 12am+. Mark Lee's wife just gave birth to a lovely baby girl last Monday during 观音诞 at Gleneagles. Concidentally, their gynae is Dr Chan! Saw Dr Chan and his staffs on TV last night & I was so shocked. Never did I expect that he will appear on TV and even helped to deliver a baby of a celebrity's wife cause I'm only aware that he helped Goh Chok Tong to deliver his grandson. Labels: Baby Stuffs Monday, July 28, 2008 Yeap, I am too free liao. Nothing much to do at home on my off day. So I decided to snap pictures of the barangs barangs that can be found lying around in the house. Wanted to bring out some baby clothings to wash and pack my hospital bag partially but seems like nothing much to pack also. Sigh..... Am I gonna rot at home again today? Off also sianz, no off also sianz. ![]() My sterilizer, breast pumps/pads, bottles and baby's nail clipper ![]() The dimpled pillow & mini bolster ![]() The milk powder samples from Anmum given to me by the hospital Was at Takashimaya baby department yesterday during my lunch time looking at the nursing pillow from Cheeky Bon Bon. Its case is exactly the same as the mini bolster & dimpled pillow that I bought. Wanted very much to get it but its the last piece. Moreover, the zipper bag has been opened up before. I reckon many people has start touching the pillow like nobody business liao. So I didn't managed to buy the nursing pillow in the end. Overheard the salesgirl talking to another customer that they will be having the Baby Fair again on the 7th Aug 2008. Well, not sure whether if this is true as I'd checked the website for Takashimaya and they have not update the events for August yet. Last night was terrible. I threw up the moment I reached home. Foods that I ate during my late lunch weren't digested at all. Went to bed at 930pm and woke up at 11am this morning. I am feeling rather fresh now but hopefully the bloatedness feeling will not come back. Labels: Baby Stuffs Sunday, July 27, 2008 Heartburn heartburn! The feeling of having a heartburn really sucks to the core. Vomited after my meals since yesterday and I ain't getting any better. Baby is still active, kicking vigorously in my tummy and I am glad =) Mum promised to prepare bird nest for me tonight. I hope it will soothe my current situation somehow. Am at work right now, its really a sad thing to work on a Sunday, isn't it? Sigh.. Hubby is at home nuaing, Mummy is at home too. How I wish I can be home today like them.. *sobz* I am feelin' so bloated now.. although I had a small bowl of oatmeal this morning with some crackers. Lunch time is dragging later & later..cause I am not feeling hungry at all!! How???!! This feeling sucks manz.. I seem to be back to my 1st trimester. Grrr.. Labels: Pregnancy Friday, July 25, 2008 I doubt we need to buy any diapers for Little Bean first cause the diapers (various brands) we'd received from those goodies bags are really a lot. Don't believe? See below...; ![]() Well, we really don't know which brand is good for now. We shall try on these freebies we received first before deciding. Huggies, Pampers, Drypers & Nepia. OMG! Still short of MamyPoko, Pet Pet... and what else? Hehehe.. Labels: Baby Stuffs I've decided to delete my old blog entries away and shifted my baby blog to this current URL instead. Its really tiring to maintain 2 blogs at the same time manz. So people, please kindly remove the livejournal one and update my blog addy to this instead. Am on MC today cause I had a terrible leg cramp last night & this morning. I woke up having strained calf on my left leg and could hardly walk. Duh.. It was quite unbearable so I decided to take the day off. Mummy brought back breakfast for me in the morning and I had my fill. Well I am glad that my apettite is gettin better & better each day but on the other hand, hopefully I won't gain too much weight and end up having C-section to get Little Bean out. Hospital bill ain't too cheap nowadays. In fact, I doubt I will be changing my mind to get the Single room anymore cause its like $1k in difference (cash) payable. If its through Medisave then I would gladly go ahead to change to a Single bedder of course. Went to Lot 1 and got my MC just now. Popped by Kiddypalace to take a look before heading back home. Wanted to get Little Bean a swaddling blanket from BabySafe but I don't see the brand around. Sigh, lazy to ask the sales person there so I just left the place. Guess I will check it out at Takashimaya tomorrow instead. The StemCord people are really fast. We just attended the class on Monday and filled up our particulars, I received their thick book of brochures today liao. Sehness.. Think they are really trying to pull business. Labels: Hospital Wednesday, July 23, 2008 Went for my gynae appointment this morning. Waited for an hour or so before it was my turn. Am glad to see that Little Bean has grow so much.. He's weighing 2.175kg at 32weeks and 1day of gestation, and I've gained 1.8kg since the last visit. Dr Chan commented that I'd been controlling my weight very well and Little Bean is growing very well too. So happy! Will be seeing Dr Chan in 3weeks' time, then 2 weeks.. But but... Little Bean did not co-operate with us again this time round. He sticked to me quite closely and the 3D scan wasn't able to see much of his contrast. On the contrary, he showed us his testicles instead. His birdie and testicles were so obvious lor! Naughty Little Beanie.. Gonna smack his butt when he pops. LOL... Went home for a rest after the check up. Took a nap and went for the antenatal class at night. Not much of lecture about baby bath demonstration but they covered more on feeding issues and I was quite dissapointed. Nevertheless, they invited a guest speaker to talk about her 13mths breast feedings experiences with her twins. Thereafter, the StemCord people gave a talk as well. Since Hubby missed the seminar talk during my hospital tour, I made him to stay back and watch the video clip with me. Kekeke.. Right now, we'r still considering whether to sign up with StemCord or not since the price ain't really too high that we expect it to be. But something quite traumatizing is when the StemCord people can't even give us a definite answer how on long the stem cells can be stored for. hmmm... Labels: Antenatal Class, Gynae Appointment Tuesday, July 22, 2008 Excited excited! I am going to see Dr Chan and little baby tomorrow. Am in my 32nd weeks of gestation now, and after the long wait of 1 month, finally I am going for my routine checkup again! Hopefully I will be seeing Dr Chan more often (as promised by him) after tomorrow's check up which I believe most gynae has this practise. Well, hopefully Little Bean will be co-operative tomorrow morning during the 3D & 4D scan. We had been lamenting to see Little Bean's face during every viist but he's always hiding himself. So sad.. Will be attending my last lesson of antenatal class tomorrow night as well. I am really anticipating to attend the class manz cause it will be on baby care and feeding. Hehe. Labels: Gynae Appointment Wednesday, July 16, 2008 Had lunch at Fish & Co. with Hubby in Jurong Point before going for my antenatal class. It has been a long time since we last had Fish & Co. as my morning sickness haunted me for like almost 6mths? Most of the times when Hubby suggested eating Fish & Co., Cafe Cartel, Swensens.. I would just have the disgusted feeling cause imagining the large portion of food served just turns me off. Well, I wasn't like this before I was pregnant. In fact, I enjoyed dining outside a lot with Hubby & Mummy. Alright, back to the antental class topic. After attending the birthing process and mock labour class, I have phobia giving birth now. The mock labour during the last lesson wasn't "MOCK" at all lor. We were shown 5 video clips of real life birth process and its all so bloody. Grrr... Most of the times I just kept my eyes close and not looking at the screen but the screaming and moaning already makes me wanna faint liao. Next Tuesday will be my last lesson and it will be on baby feeding. I sincerely looking forward to that baby feeding class and get ready for baby's arrival. Hehehe.. Labels: Antenatal Class Monday, July 14, 2008 Attended the Mothers-Get-Together seminar talk ytd at GlenEagles. Hubby was busy at work & couldn't attend with me so I attended alone. Left home an hour earlier to catch a bus there. Apparently I thought the event starts at 1pm but actually they only starts the registration at 1pm and seminar commencing at 2pm. Registered myself at the booth and collected my door gift (goodie bag). There were a few booths around promoting AIA Insurance, PIGEON products, Rustic Nirvana confinement therapy, Stem Cord Banking, milk powder company etc... Well, I tried to siam from them of course and settled myself at the cafeteria for sandwiches and fruit juice. Hang around the lounge area and waited for time to pass since the talk only starts at 2pm. It was quite a sad & dissapointing scenerio when I see MOST of the mummies are accompanied by their spouses. But I knew I got to be independant so I just sat quietly alone in the auditorium. By 1,35pm, I was being urshered into the auditorium. Got myself a comfy seat but was then kena blocked by the man sitting in front of me. He kept turning his head left & right thru out the talk & I got problem looking at the projector lor. Grrr.. Anyway, there were 2 guest speakers presenting some talks abot Cord Blood Banking and baby's issues. Tea break was nice, an ang moh came over to chat with me. She's into her 6mth months of gestation now and seeing the same gynae as me. As her husband wasn't able to make it to the seminar talk with her, we have each another's accompany during the break & hospital tour. Its always nice chatting with another pregnant lady/ladies as we share the same topics. Heheh.. The event lasted later than planned. And I took a bus back home thereafter. Saw the nurse from Dr Chan's clinic. Concidentally, she stays in Bt Panjang too. Labels: Hospital Thursday, July 10, 2008 Attended my 2nd antenatal class last night with Hubby. Apparently I mixed up the itinery of the lessons.. Thought that we will be going thru the mock labour session, but it turns out to be the Stages of Birth. Nonetheless, we also learnt some stretching exercises and breathing techniques during contractions. 4 levels of breathing contractions that goes.. who-who-who.. ma chiam Liang Po Po. LOL. The next lesson will be on mock labour and birthing process! Oh yah, Gleneagles is having a Mother-Get-Together seminar and hospital tour this Saturday. Though I registered for 2 pax but I reckon hubby won't be attending with me since he had been taking leaves to accompany me. What's more, its a Saturday & its gonna be a busy day for a busy man like him. It would be fine if I were to attend on my own anyway.. There are times when I need to be independant, right? Some MTBs attended the antenatal class alone last night too, without their hubby so I think the hospital tour is just fine, without Hubby around. Kekeke.. Labels: Antenatal Class Monday, July 7, 2008 Just came back from OG at 四马路 there with Mummy. Bought the PIGEON breast pads already.. and replenished more disposable cotton panties for confinement use. Saw a couple of rocker cum high chair at OG. There's one COMBI one which is quite nice and super comfy but then the price tag ain't too friendly. Yet another design which is more cute but not from COMBI & its more price tag friendly :) but it doesnt swing and can't be use for high chair in future. Anyway, this high chair cum rocker can always be bought later. What's most important now is to replenish more stuffs for Baby's arrival. Well, we had a hard time finding the infant pillow case and playpen mat cover from Baby Safe. Its either the pillow case has the colour we want but the play pen mat cover doesn't have the colour, or vice versa. I am really pulling my hair and wonder when can I ever find A SET for the pillow case and play pen mat cover? Damn it manz.. A week passed by really fast. It's monday again tomorrow and I will be attending my 2nd antenatal class on Tuesday. The itinery for the 2nd lesson is exercise and birthing process! Think they will also demonstrate a mock labour as well. I am really anticipating to attend the class. Heheheh.... Labels: Baby Stuffs Thursday, July 3, 2008 Attended my first antenatal class last evening with Hubby at GlenEagles. Reached the hopsital rather early, at 6pm and we waited at the lounge before going in since the auditorium was still empty. At 6.20pm, we took our own sweet time to "march" in to the auditorium. Surprised to see that we were the only couple present and we started to panick. LOL.. But soon, by 630pm, many couples came in. As usual, Singaporeans are late queens & kings. After the lecture starts, there were still people coming in.. and I really got frustrated cause I kept being distracted by the closing & opening of the door with the squeeky sound. Grrr... The lecture lasted for 1hour, and we were brought to another venue at the Rehab department for our exercise!! I chose an isolated spot to settle down and Hubby just sat next to me. Well, I would say I enjoy the class very much and got to know what are the exercises that is beneficial for me. Nonetheless, we were given goodies bag again. Received 1 bag from Philips Avent that comes with a milk bottle, 3 pcs of pampers diapers and some brochures of the Philips Avent products. As for the other goodies bag, it actually came witha gift box containing 8 pcs of Huggies Ultra (again) diapers, Johnsons & Johnsons wet wipes (jumbo pack) & some brochures. Counted the pieces of diapers I have now from receiving the goodies bag so far. Guess the quantity? Its 29pcs! LOL.. Told Mum that this is equivalent to buying a pack of diapers liao. Hahaha..
