Left home early this morning cause I forgotten to claim the FREE gift at Takashimaya yesterday after Hubby bought his Levis Jeans. Apparently the lady was quite reluctant to let me redeem my FREE gift cause I'm supposed to be claim it on the same day when we made our purchase. But, I heck care her & told her that no one inform me about this T&C, moreover it wasn't even stated on the signage or receipt. LOL.. In the end, I still managed to claim my FREE gift of course. Its a Elizabeth Arden skin protector. Hahaha...

Lunch was with Geraldine & CK at Lucky Plaza. The last time I saw Geraldine was during Jared's full month and how time flies, it was almost 3mths ago. The peeps accompanied me to Takashimaya again cause I wanted to get Jared another top from Petit Bateau. Its actually a reversible top and Jared can wear on both sides. For a reversible top from France at 74bucks before discount is quite worth the money I would say. In fact their baby & adult clothings are damn confortable, just that I find the price a little bit steep.

By the way, Toys'rus is having a 20% storewide today at all branches. Mummies, head down to Toys'rus and get your kids a new top for the new year bah. Yes, I'm going to the one at Paragon tomorrow. Hehehe.. Last but not least, FOX babies having sales too. 30% off on regular items & additional 15% if you pay by DBS credit/debit cards.

We brought Jared to town today! I would say today is his most well-behaved day cause he kept still inside his pram.. fell asleep on his own as and when he is tired. His Daddy still took his own sweet time trying out jeans at Levis & end up buying 2 pairs for CNY.

Mummy bought a nice pink shirt from GUESS Kids for Jared and he looks so dashing in it! Apparently we wanted to get the romper from Armani but the last piece was defective as the Armani logo was slightly scratched. Went over to Paragon and we bought Jared another top from FOX. My vain baby has so much new clothings now. Adding up today's purchase, Jared has 7 new tops; 3 from OldNavy, 2 from Polo Ralph Lauren, 1 from GUESS & 1 from FOX and 3 new bottoms; 2 from OldNavy & 1 from Polo Ralph Lauren already..

There are really lotsa nice clothings for Jared but he's gonna outgrown them very soon so I don't think its a good idea to get too much of them for him now. Luckily I stopped Mummy from getting the Burberrys shirt in time otherwise another big hole in her pocket! Hehehe..

Dinner was settled at the Soup Restaurant in Paragon. I'd been craving for their Samsui chicken for a long long time but hadn't got the chance to satisfy my craves. So hubby brought us there today! WOoohohoo..

Jared started his crankiness when inside the car. Guess he was as pek cek as us cause we were caught in a traffic jam on the BKE. LOL.. However he's yet happy and elated when we reached home after putting him down on the bed. I think he must be thinking, "Nice to be home!!". I will be working for half day only on New Year Eve and off on New Year! Hurray! Its bonding time with Little Jared again...

HoHoHo! Merry X'mas~*~*~*~*~*~

Its Jared's 1st X'mas and he's sure enjoying it at home cause of the cooling weather and nice TV show that keeps him entertained. LOL.. Nonetheless, Jared received his 2nd X'mas gift! Little Zantha, Zoey & Zaphen got Jared a nice pumpkin patch booties! Though they are tad too big (M size) but Jared loves them!

We had our exchange session this evening after the centre closed. Majority of us bought chocolates and we had nice Canadian Pizzas sponsored by Jenny.

Heheheh.. I rushed back home taking Bus 190. Luckily 4 of Bus 190 came together & the 1 that I boarded was actually empty! LOL..

Hubby supposed to be off tomorrow but he just came back telling us the bad news that, he gonna work at 4pm! Damn it.. the timing is like not-3-not-4 like that.. Where can we go sia?!

I'm urgently looking for the straw parts for Jared's Bfree bottle;

Grrr.. I'd been looking high & low for the straw parts but to no avail. Apparently Jared has 2 Bfree bottles (one 5oz & one 9oz) & he'd stopped using the 5oz now cause the straw is slightly worn out and the plastic seems to be peeling off. I reckon it isn't quite safe to continue using it cause anyway they need to be replaced every 6-8weeks.

It an expensive milk bottle I would say but holy shit, why is the parts so difficult to get? I managed to buy the spare teats at Kiddy Palace but the straw is not. Jared is now left with only one "working" Bfree bottle and its really a hassle to wash them after every feeds. Doom doom doom...

Before ending my entry, I've uploaded some pics of Jared. Finally snap him smiling.. hehe.. His hair is getting thinner and thinner everyday. I found strands of hair on his pillow & mattress every now & then. Hopefully his hair will grow nicer after his 1st shave on the 6th Jan 2009.

p/s: I must admit, Jared ain't really photogenic but he is super duper cute when you see him chuckles as you call out his name!

My boy is growing day by day. Though I only get to play with him for less than 5hrs (excluding sleeping beside him) a day due to work but at least I know he's well-taken care of, by Mummy. I've even set his picture as my wallpaper in my office PC, as well as calling home every 2hourly to check how he is doing. Surprisingly, he seems much more obedient when I'm not at home. I reckon he's trying to get my attention and wants me to play with him bah. Hehhe..

Lately he'd been falling asleep in my arms whenever I come home. Looking at how sweetly he sleeps, I know he likes my smell. LOL.. Anyway, I've already plan for my January schedule.

On the 6th Jan, I'll ask the HuaXia people to come and have his hair shave.

On the 13th Jan, will be bringing him for 2nd dose of Hexa (6in1) & 3rd (also the last) dose Rotateq.

On the 17th Jan, will be bringing him for 2nd dose of Peunomococcal.

Wedding dinner last night at Fort Canning, The Legends was so-so.. Anyway, Hubby's relatives said they still prefer the food from Peony Jade where we held our wedding at. And they are anticipating to attend one more time when Jared turns 1 year old. OMG! Want my our life meh? Celebrating Jared's 1st birthday at Peony Jade will costs us a bomb lor.. Hahaha..and Hubby's side has got so many relatives!~

Anyway, took lotsa pictures with Jared yesterday afternoon while waiting for time to pass. Apparently, I have lousy photography skills lah cause I cannot aim properly so most of the pics I took turned out to be not-centralised de.

Nevertheless, we took 2 "decent" pics in the morning before I went out to work. Take a look at my Little Jared, he looks so chubby but yet he's not when you see in real person~!

Realised I don't put on any make up nowadays? Firstly I'm been very lazy to put on make up anymore. Secondly, I'm always rushing to work every morning. Thirdly, I don't wanna ruin my face by applying make up cause eventually when my T-zone gets oily, I will get outbreaks easily. Ehhh, not trying to be boastful but really don't know why my complexion suddenly become soooooOoo good after I gave birth & my face is si bei fair now lor (except my dark eye bags and eye rings). I can leave the house without make up now and I don't feel uncomfortable! Yippppe!! Probably I should say "Thanks" to my breast milk cause I cleanse my face everyday with my breast milk too. LOL!!

I'm so god damnNnn tired. It has been a long day though we only worked for half a day due to stock take. Spent the rest of the few hours at boss's place for the advance Xmas celebration. We had the function room booked and the guys played Amazing Race inside the pool. Nevertheless, buffet catering was planned and lucky draw! Everyone of us walked away with a prize and we were shouting and yelling during the whole event. My voice is going hoarse now.. omg! Apparently I won a bluetooth headset lah but I don't fancy any bluetooth gadget. Well, don't know what to do with it. LOL.. Moreover, its a freaking old model which I doubt its worth more than 50bucks now?

CK was kind enough to send me back in his cousin's car thus I reach home no later than any other working days. Little Jared was sound asleep when I stepped in but woke up shortly after I had my bathe, as if he knows Mummy is back! Hehehe... Of course I miss him lots too but I always make it a point to have my shower first before touching/carry him.

He's growing so well and rapidly everyday. Lately, he gets more & more distracted with the things around him. Just the other day when we brought him back to MIL's place (a few blocks away), he kept turning his head left & right, left & right, left & right as hubby's car moves along..cause he's looking at the rain trees outside the window. Not only that, he still knows how to adjust his body by turning sideway and kick the hanging rattle that is hanging above him when we placed him in his butterfly gym.. Very smart boy, ain't he?

Anway, I will be on half day tomorrow to come back and prepare for Justin's wedding dinner at Fort Canning. Really hope to spend more time with Jared. Grr.. anticipating for the arrival of weekends!

Boss announced a bad news to us at the Xmas celebration earlier on. Well, most probably we won't be getting any AWS, let alone the bonus. Si bei sad news lor.. everyone was so demoralised. Sighh...

Wooohoo.. finally changed a new skin. Got a big problem removing that sickening white text backgrd. Anyone can help me? I want the text backgrd to be transparent. Anyway, I'd replaced the header into Jared's photo. He ain't smiling again! My naughty little boy seldom smile at the camera one, I also don't understand why? Although he stays still at the count of 1, 2, 3.. but he doesn't put on a smile. He only smiles after he sees the flashlight, which is tad too late. LOL..

Now that he's in his 3rd month, I have started using the Pigeon Mag Mag training cup on him since he has the habit of "trying" to hold his own milk bottle during feeding time. Oftenly he's startled by the warm feeling on the milk bottle so I reckon Mag Mag is suitable for him cause it has 2 handles which is much more easier for him. Nonetheless, I'd also bought the F1rst Teeth baby toothpaste (Banana & Apple Flavour) for him too. Been wanting to get this for him ever since I saw it at Guardian Pharmacy when he was still a newborn. As the box states that the toothpaste is only for infant above 3months old so I only bought it now. The toothpaste is freaking expensive I would say. It costs me a whopping 21bucks and its such a small tube, compared to the adult Darlie's toothpaste lor. Sigh.. everything is so expensive now. But for the sake of Jared, I must bite my teeth to go through these..

Brought Jared to Lot One this afternoon. The weather was good & cooling enough.. I thought it would be a good day to bring him out since he fancy "cold cold" very much. Generally he's well-behaved throughout the few hours we were at Lot One. At least I still get to try out my Levi's Jeans for almost an hour & shopping at Kiddy Palace. We wanted to put him in the baby carrier and see if he likes it but he cried the minute we put him in cause he poo-ed. LOL..

Anyway, we'll try him again when his head is 100% steady. Right now, he's only 95% steady so I don't wanna strain his neck too much.

On 2nd Sept 2006, we officially own a house. Despite paying a upfront 12k to the owner and also spent almost 30k renovating the house (exlcuding buying of furnitures & stuffs) but I still don't quite like our place. Reasons I wanna move out;

Hates to take the LRT though its consider convenient here cause many buses can reach to places we want to go if not driving like Vivo, Orchard, Jurong Point, Causeway Point, Chinatown, IMM etc....
Hate to have a China & Indian family as our neighbour
No room for Jared when he grows up
Master bedroom too small
Dislike the kitchen layout
Stupid china neighbour kept lotsa plants. My biggest worry is whether any mosquitoes were breded or not
Lift load too small. Oftenly the lift is overload or over-crowded, yet some people buay zi dong still wanna squeeze in & take the lift with you despite they are just staying on the 2nd storey
Kids running along the corridor and making hell lots of noises when Jared is in his dreamland. Hence, causing him to startle
Stupid birds like to fly into our kitchen through the window and poke away our food & fruits that has been left on the table & even shit after their meals

Jared slept from 11pm last night till 7am this morning for his milk milk! Good job baby! Mummy knows you've grown up and is sleeping longer now.

We just came back from Yvonne See's clinic. Brought Jared for his Pneumococcal jab and in fact he was still asleep at 10.20am when we supposed to leave the house at 11am. Anyway, we "woke" him up and changed him.. It was kinda crowded at the clinic so we waited for a while.

Well, I got a little confused by the immunisation schedule now. Apparently the GP told us we can let Jared take the 6in1 jab together with Rotateq at 2nd, 4mth and 6th month but Yvonne (PD) said Rotateq can be taken during the 2nd, 3rd and 4th month. However, we still let Jared take his 1st Pneumococcal jab today together with his 2nd Rotateq. Little Jared was brave enough though he did cried for a few seconds and stopped after that. Yvonne was really fast and now I know what's the difference between a PD and a GP. LOL.. She took about 3 seconds poking in the needle and the whole process is over.

At Jared's 3rd month, he weighs 6.5kg now.

Seen so many mummies and babies today! Teresa brought Nat Nat to Wisma today cause her phone needs to be fixed. Nat Nat is soooOoo long now.. hahaha. Tried carrying him and indeed he "feel" heavier than Jared despite he was borned lighter than Jared about 1kg.

And that's little Nat Nat handsomely dressed. Hehehe..

Went to Taka nursery and did my usual pumping. It has become my daily routine now and I always get to chat up with the mummies inside the breastfeeding room. Saw a very very cute toddler and she has very big eyes and nice hair.. Was on the phone & suddenly someone familiar came in. It was my cousin, Serene with Xavier. Hehehe.. Catch up a little with her and I went off after I finish expressing milk.

It has been a week plus ever since I returned back to work. Well, I am actually quite stressed out every morning cause I always rush like a mad woman. After Jared finishes his morning feed every morning, I told myself "its time to wake up" but I always dozed off again & ultimately late for my bus (if hubby is not sending me to work!) I have so many barangs barangs to carry to work, that includes my breast pump, my cooler bag, my own handbag etc... And at lunch, I gotta finish my meal in 15mins time, the maximum is 20mins. The rest of the 40mins I gotta travel from Wisma to Taka to express my milk, then wash my pump there & walk back! I simply has no time to shop around..or even buy makan that I like. Looking at the big SALE signage at Gucci, COACH and Baby Polo Ralph Lauren.. I also got no time to go near & see lor. Sigh..~ Anyway, for the benefits of Jared.. I know I must persevere till the day my supply runs out.

Well, take the Xmas gathering for example. Our company will be organising a Xmas celebration next Wednesday after the stock take but my biggest worry is the breast milk that I gotta bring around. As my cooler bag can only lasts for 12hrs, I know its definitely impossible for me to bring them to the Xmas gathering cause the temperature would have gone up. So, the only way is to discard the milk that I pump for that day. Sounds very wasteful and sad, right? I am feelin' very depressed also!!! Grrr...

Jared turns 3months today!

At 3 months; My mischievious boy...

Turns his head and follow objects. At times he's so focused and don't even blink his eyes.
Shout as he cries for milk.
Grabbing things and pulling my hair when carrying him upright.
Laugh out loudly when he's thrilled.
Quiet down/stops crying when he hears baby lullaby.
Kicking in water during bath times.
Likes to "stand" on his feet after every feeds.
Loves looking at Winnie The Pooh.
Recognise himself and others in front of the mirror.
Play with himself and fall asleep on his own.

Will be bringing Jared for his 3rd mtonth Pneumococcal vaccine this weekend. I've taken 2 days of child care leave together with my off day on Monday to stay home with him.

I'm soooOo glad that its a long weekend so that I can keep Jared accompany at home. He deem to know that Mummy is not going to work cause he woke up in the morning smiling and laughing away when he see me. My mischievious boy.. Hehehe.. Anyway I sneaked out today again! Went to Lot One and search for a gift box for the Xmas gift that I'm giving to Joshua's baby girl. Finally I got it, and its so cheap!! $1.50 for a nice gift box.. moreover no wrapping needed.

Was surfing Friendster just now. Josephine is back from her Genting trip with Alan. This vain girl posted a pic of me carrying Jared which was taken during his full month. LOL..

Hehehe.. I must admit that Jared don't really look too handsome in the earlier stage but now he's grown so differently and showing me different patterns everyday.

Looking back, Jared was so tiny and small when we first brought him back on the 12th Sept 2008 from Gleneagles. And now, he's such a big & "long" baby.. measuring at least 60cm long. Very soon he's gonna outgrown the swinging high chair we bought cause he kept kicking & kicking till his whole body is going upwards.

Anyway, will update his growth spurt soon since he's reaching his 3rd month.

Received a letter from MCYS the other day saying that we hadn't open a CDA acct for Jared.. *blur* I thought the bank was supposed to contact us & make an apptment with us to meet up (as what the Gleneagles Receptionist told us)? Anyway, I'm gonna run some errands today! Will be going to the UOB bank later at Plaza then head down to OCBC at CCK to open Jared's CDA acct since I'm getting something at Lot One later on.

Called up Mothercare yesterday and enquired about the Bright Starts Around We Go Activity Centre that I wanna get for Jared. Seems like only the Habourfront Flagship store is selling & we have to pay the full amount first before they order for us from the supplier. Well, I think this is good also cause I was so afraid that the item will go OOS when we go down as you know its school holidays now and the parking at Vivo there is terrible. We were asked to park at Habourfront Tower last weekend when we went there cause the carpark at Vivo and Habourfront Centre was full. Its gonna be a wasted trip if the item go OOS. Luckily, advance order is compulsory & I shall negotiate with the salesgirl to collect it at Causeway Point if it is ok. Hehehe.. Shall find one day to go down to Habourfront Centre and place my order. At the same time, I saw this on their website. Its so cute..

Jared is getting more & more playful lately. He screamed and laugh out loudly whenever we play with him. Seeing him growing everyday & getting more chubby, we are contented. Will be bringing him for his first dose of pneumococcal on the 13th. And I've specially taken childcare leaves to keep him accompany...

Was on half day yesterday as I need to go for my medical apptment at Dr Chan's clinic. It was raining cats & dogs when I left office but I still manage to reach in time as Gleneagles is just 4 bus stops away from town.

Had my PAP smear done and did a ultrasound scan. Everything was fine through the scanning except my PAP smear result which will takes about 2 days to be mailed to me. Total bill for the day was $270! Cursed & sweared after I left the clinic cause its damn freaking expensive! With $270, I can buy a Bright Starts Around We Go Activity Centre for Jared. Damn Damn Damn.. Anyway, I doubt I will be going back to Dr Chan there for my yearly check up in future cause his fees are really damn freaking high! No wonder he's driving a Audi R8. Grrr...

Kept Jared accompanied for the evening when Mummy went for her dental apptment. The both of us fell asleep on the bed while watching the 7pm show on Channel 8. Hahaha... Like mother like son ya, cause he woke up shortly after I was awake.

Am back to work today again! Dragged myself out of the bed and my head was splitting apart. But I'm glad that I don't really get to work many days for the month of December as I need to clear my Childcare leave before Year 2009!

Jared is so fortunate.. His God Daddy & Mummy bought him a Polo Ralph Lauren tee and a pair of shorts today as his Xmas gift.

Apparently Joshua told me he saw a set of baby clothings at Petite and asked if I like it.. Well, if someone wants to buy you something, would you ever say NO? Anyway, today he told me he changed his mind cause he intend to buy Jared "something else". Was quite shocked that he passed me a Polo Ralph Lauren paper bag after his lunch. He actually bought something for Jared from Pol Ralph Lauren! It was nicely wrapped and a nice little card attached to the gift box.

Anyway, Jared says "Thank You" to his God Daddy & Mummy for his expensive gift. Joshua must have spent a bomb buying the set of baby clothings. Now I am feelin stressed out! His baby girl is arriving next March.. What should I buy back in return?

Anyway, I must admit that the sizes are tad too big cause Joshua bought the tee for 0-12month and the shorts for 0-9month. Anyway, big is always better than small so that Jared won't outgrown them too early. Kekeke..

Last but not least, the gifts that I've ordered from Snapfish has arrived. The collage mug with Jared's pictures of 4, 2 key rings, 40 pcs of photographs and a Thank You card for Dr Chan. I will be giving him the card tomorrow when I go for my PAP smear.

Jared totally melted our hearts when we came home after work just now. He was smiling away and coo-ing at us, and seems telling us that he'd missed us for the whole day when we ain't around. I washed my hands quickly with Dettol and carried him immediately! He's so adorable...

Today is my first day going back to work after my 12 weeks maternity leave + 6 days annual leave! After feeding Jared at 730am this morning, I set my alarm to wake up at 8.15am to prepare myself for work. My plan was to wake up and take my own sweet time to pump milk.. but who knows, somehow the alarm did not goes off (or probably I just snoozed it & went back to sleep) and I woke up at 920am! I was mad.. rushing like a siao chabor cause I know I gonna take about 30minutes pumping milk and I need to rush for my 10am bus! Bloody shit.. End up, I did not managed to take the 10am bus. I saw Jenny at the interchange & we board the bus to work together. LOL.. Luckily the traffic was smooth & we reached office just in time for the morning briefing.

My brain was empty for the whole day. I've forgotten lotsa things that I ought to remember. I wasn't able to recall the password for my acct. I was in a loss when I tried figuring out how to open up the battery cover etc... But there's always little remarks that brightens up my day. Colleagues welcomed me back to work & praising how well-rested I look.. most importantly is my face! Yeah.. I am now pimple-less and all blemishes are gone! I've no idea what actually happened but at least I'm contented that my face did not deteriorate after giving birth. Am just feelin a bit dissapointed that my weight did not go down any further & it has stopped at my pre-preganancy weight. Its a full stop now... dot dot dot... *_*

It was a total new experience for me today. I headed to the breastfeeding room at the Taka nursery on Level 3 during my lunch hr. Two malay mummies were breastfeeding inside and I asked politely if I could join them since there was a 3 seater sofa and 1 armchair inside. My alkaline batteries died on me after pumping for less than 2mins. I was furious & panicky. Luckily the malay nummies told me there's a socket there (where her diapers bag had block my view). The room was stuffy and hot.. with the babies crying & crying at the other part of the nursery. Frankly I was feelin very pek cek..and I couldn't concentrate so I chin chai pump for yi si yi si as long as I don't feel the hard lumps anymore.
