I've missed too much on the progress of Jared's developement. Basically, he'd learnt a lot in his 15th month and 16th month.

He'll fetch for his own hankercheif when he knows its meal time!
Get his Mah-Mah (Grandma aka my Mum) the disposable gloves when she says she's gonna give him his favorite apple. (for hygiene purpose when cutting up the fruit)
Understand instructions like; Sit down, lie down, stand up on your own ....
Says "Mummy", "Mah", "Papa", "mum mum", "milk milk", "不要，不要 ", "No No", "包包" (for bread/buns), "抱抱", "这个这个，那个那个", "公公".......
~~Walk~~ Run steadily..
Fetch for his own towel when we says "Pom Pom time loooo"..
Open the shoe cabinet and get his own shoes when we says we are going "gai gai"..
Holds the vaccum cleaner pole
Disposed off his soiled diapers himself. He will dump the diaper into the rubbish bag!
Touches his tummy/Rub against his palm to tell us that he wants to apply "如意油"
Touches his head to says that he wanna shampoo his hair.
Touches his buttock to says that he wanna poo poo..
Switching on the laptop
Inserting the earpiece into my laptop. (He remembers every little thing I do and he imitate me)
Flipping the magazines and imitating the expressions he see on the pages.
Helps to put back the cordless phone to the stand after we'd finish talking.
Fetching us our respective mobile phones when it rings.
Dances to the music.... (especially "Ok na kha") LOL..
"shhh shhhh" as he walks to the kitchen when he hears the birds chirping at the window.
Says "mao mao" when he sees a cat
Says "gou gou" when he sees a dog
Signs to us the picture of an orange/an apple when we give him a real one.
Signs to us the picture of a tiger
Helps to keep his toys after playing (though he's rather slow cause he usually pick up one by one and back again)
DOES NOT/WILL NOT pick up little pieces of unknown particles and put into his mouth (we'r so proud of this. LOL). Instead he will come to us and give it to us PERSONALLY.
Nods his head when asked a question. Shakes his head when the answer is No. (he used to shake his body left & right when answering a No.)
Knows his way home after he exit from the lift!

Jared turns 14months today; He'd learnt so much for the past 1month and I noted every little new things about him in my phone :)

When we asked him to pray pray in front of the Buddha, he put his palms together in less than 2 seconds.
He rub against his palms when we say "吉祥牌如意油"
He knows how to sit inside his Bumbo seat without us helping him. And of course "exiting" from his bumbo seat as well.
When he sees the commercial ad on TV featuring 无比膏, he will point his toes cause the kid inside the commercial also touches his toes and elbow.
He knows how to wheelie on his rider seat now. Occasionally he will stand on top *naughty boy*
He shakes his head when we says "NO"
He nods his head when we says "YES"
He knows how to turn on and off the fan by pressing on the on/off button.
Keeping his own toys after playing *very good*
Recognise which is Daddy's car when 2 cars park side by side.
Helps me to fetch for my spectacles every morning when I wake up.
He knows how to open his mouth wide when we ask him to.
He knows how to show his tongue when we ask him to.
He knows how to close his eyes when we ask him to.
He points to the correct person when we ask him. Eg: Gong Gong, Mah-Mah, Mummy, Daddy and Jared etc..
Put away his milk bottle after finishing. Sometimes when he's KPO, he will walk to the kitchen and put in near the basin by tipping his toes.
He knows how to pass the remote control to us when he wants to switch to another TV channel -__-""
Says "PAPA" when he see the 企鹅爸爸 commercial ads.

Overall, Jared really has very good memories. Things that we teaches him, he can remember quickly and register in his head. Am so proud of my little boy. We'll continue to shower him with lotsa loves ("V") cause he's simpky too cute. Hehehehe..

Dinner at the HK cafe last night again. Food was nice as usual but Hubby just like to fuss at food which I like. Don't know why...

We brought Jared's porridge out and fed him at the restaurant. The dinner was a quick one and we quickly head home since Jared is sick.

He's so cute wearing the bib.

He starts walking very long distance nowadays without us noticing. He's lazy & doesn't wanna walk when we asked him to. But he will just suddenly stand up on his own and start walking around from bedroom to another just like a little penguin. Occasionally he will walk steadily from the living room to the kitchen too. If we suddenly clap & praise him for doing well while he's walking then he will sit down and doesn't wanna walk again for the next 1-2hours. LOL..

Am still trying to find a chance to tape down his walking clips.

He's got so many new stunts lately. He knows how to sit himself inside his Bumbo seat. Hahahha..

As promised, lotsa updates on Jared.

Jared had his first bus ride on the 11 Oct 2009 to RailMall. We brought him to RailMall and replenished his organic apples. Took 184 from Pending LRT and he was so happy! He enjoyed looking at the cars outside the window. Apparently we thought he would fussed since he's such an active boy who likes to climb up & down. But surprisingly, he behaved well. We shall take him with us on more bus rides to further places in future :)

Taken these photos on a Sunday morning ( 05 Oct 2009) at the McDonalds. Jared loves his hotcakes! And he's starting to collect new toys from every Happy Meals! LOL..

Treated Mum to a dinner at the HK cafe in BPP on 02 October for her birthday. She doesn't want something too expensive as to save the big hole for my pocket. The food at this HK cafe serves good & nice food. The waitresses like Jared so much and of course he behaved really well for the day too.

Back at MIL's place (29 Sept 2009). Jared loves the Pooh Bear tricycle! Apparently, the tricycle belongs to his cousins of course. Though he doesn't knows how to cycle yet but the musical Pooh amused him lots. Promised him that we'll buy him one when he gets older.

Little boy is sick since Wednesday. He started with mild cough and we started monitoring him since then. Gave him some Vasican to loosen his phelgm and per instructed by the PD, we gotta bring him for consultation should he don't get any better for the next few days.

This morning we decided we should bring him to see Dr Yvonne See.

Jared is diagnosed with bronchitis. And Ventolin syrup is given to him, as well as 10 satchets of Singulair Oral Granule (powder). We were told to mix the powder in Jared's porridge as it can't be dissolved easily in mlk. According to the clinic asst, per sachet of this medicine costs about $3.60 and its a.k.a the Golden powder.

Am keeping my fingers crossed and really hope that Jared will gets better if not he needs to be on neubaliser. Sigh..

Will continue to to monitor him and if needed, we gonna go back for review 2-3 days later.

Jared turns 13mth old! Hehheheehe..

A memorable 13mth for our little baby cause he's learning more & more things now.
We wanted to bring him to JB yesterday but the heavy rain in the early afternoon spoilt our mood and we decided to cancel the trip. Brought him to United Square's Junior League and has his haircut! We utilised the voucher he got when we particpated in the Most Photogenic Baby contest.

The hairstylist did a very good job. Jared's hair is so much neater and nice now.

At Jared's 13mth;

He's able to drink from straw
He stands up on his own unassisted and walk a few steps before sitting down again
He dances along with his favorite music
He remembers the sequences of the words on "Your Baby Can Read" disc, at least 50%
He's sleeping earlier at night now
He starts eating egg yolk
He smiles at anyone he sees
He knows that Ribena commercial is showing after Boys Over Flowers show has finished
He points to his head, shoulder and wriggle his toes when he hears "Head and shoulder, knee & toes.. knee toes.."
He point with his fingers
He offers to let you have his xiao mantous before he puts one in his mouth
He kicks (a) when he sees the word "kick" (b) when we ask him to..
He signs that he wanna dry his hands with the hand towel after washing
He hugs/kisses us
He says "pple pple" when he wants to eat his apples

It was Jared's lunar 1 year old birthday yesterday.

Being a very traditional Mum, I prepared 4 items for him to pick.
A calligraphy brush, a drumstick, a calculator (to replace abascus) and a book.

The first item he chose was the drumstick. Followed by the calligraphy brush, then the book. And the last one is actually the calculator.

Took some videos of Jared this morning. Was reading Xiao Nat's blog when I saw him pushing the push-along walker.. I remembered Jared wasn't quite good at it and he's so lazy to do it so I decided to let him have a try. He did fairly well now even without any "practising". Just that he doesn't even know where he's going. Hahahaha..

Finally after 11 days of hard work, I am having my long weekends off. Will be away from office for today, tomorrow, Monday & Tuesday. Lotsa plans ahead..I am so looking foward!

Jared is learning how to stand up on his own.
He started learning this new skill at 9.25pm just now. He's so cute and funny when he attempted many tries but end up he kept sitting down. Hopefully his butt won't get too painful since he's shielded with his diaper. LOL..

Anyway, I managed to tape down a short video of him standing up when he didn't notice me. Just too bad the sarong cloth covered up a little bit of his head so can't really see his expression

A summarised growth assessment on Jared as he rns 12months old;

He knows what is "tu-tu" (pacifier). He will help you to search for it when you asked him to.
He helps to get my specs every morning when I wake up for work.
He claps his hands when you ask him to, when he hears "If you'r happy and you know it, you clap your hands...", when he's happy, when someone claps, when he hears "Happy Birthday to you..." song.
He points to his toes, mouth, nose, eyes when you ask him to.
He raises him arms when you says "arms up!"
He pat his chest lightly when you ask him if he's afraid (怕怕?), when he hears thunder..
He pat his stomach when you ask him "饱饱?"
He says "ah-kah!" when you ask him where's the old uncle (our neighbour)
He points to another unit (on our same floor) when you ask him "where's 狗狗?". Because there's a dog staying in that unit.
He calls "mama" when he sees me, sees my photo, wedding photo...
He calls "mah-mah" 嫲嫲 (grandma)
He says "barr-barr" when he sees Barney.
He crawls all his way from the kitchen to the living room area when he hears his favorite commercial break. eg: Mamy Poko pants, Ribena, 添丁发才 ads etc..

He knows how to differentiate Mamy Poko and Huggies packaging. When ask, he will prompt to the correct diapers.
He points to Pooh Bear, Piglet, Hunny & Eeyore correctly when we ask him.
He can reverse in his ride-on.
He reads his books voluntarily.
He now cries when he see me leaving for work.

Been really very very busy with work lately after my long weekend from work. The prayers at the temple for Daddy & Grandma has ended. My Mum and I took turns to attend the prayers on Friday & Saturday, whereas my brother went on Sunday.

Now that Hari Raya is around the corner, I will have to take over some of the work duties from Hidayah so that she can go for her long weekends on coming Saturday, Sunday & Monday. Am gonna work for 11 days straight without resting! Grrr.. I hope I can take it. Work is really not easy nowadays. I don't wanna give up so easily but I will still move on, should something big gonna hit a impact on me :)

Went JB with Hubby during the weekends. It took us 2 hours to clear the custom. We checked the traffic on onemotoring and saw that there's a jam at the Singapore custom but we still went ahead. LOL.. Anyway, we replenished some of Jared's daily neccessities like diapers. We intend to switch Jared's day diapers back to Mamypoko since he's grown older now and we shall let him wear Huggies only at night. Its more economical this way. Bought a Mickey Mouse musical lantern for him in JB too. He loves it to max and the lantern plays "Row row row your boat..."

After getting in contact with the music, now he knows the song very well. When I asked him, "Jared.. row row row your boat..", he will reach for his lantern and signs to me that the lantern plays that song.

Yesterday, Mummy couldn't find his pacifier. So she asked Jared.. "where's your tu-tu?" and Jared crawled underneath the sofa and reached out for his pacifier. Hahahaha.. I wasn't quite convinced when Mummy told me this cause it may be just concidence. But this morning, I witnessed his "smartness" myself. I greeted him "good morning" when he crawled to me in bed. When I asked him, "Jared, where's Mummy's spectacles? can you find Mummy's spectacles please?" and of course I did signed to him. He immediately searched around my pillow area (I usually placed my spectacles beside me when I sleep) and brought me my specs.

We had a chinese neighbour (old uncle) and we call him 爷爷 or uncle. Whenever we met this uncle in the lift or at the void deck, Jared will says "ahh-ka!" (uncle I supposed). Hahahahaha..

I must agree that babies nowadays are really smart!

Bought a Barney cake for Jared on his actual day of his birthday! He was so excited when he see the big Barney on the cake. Mummy prepared 12pcs of red eggs too. So that we each can have a share on the eggs to eat "heng heng".

Jared's Daddy couldn't get the day off so we cut the cake without him. Anyway, Jared is still happy as long as there's something for him to eat. LOL..

I even put on the abascus pendant and gold chain for him to wear for the day. Its a little gesture from me for my dear son as he turns one year old. I hope he will grow up with good mathematics skills & lotsa money to 算。hehhehe...

We had an advanced birthday celebration for Jared yesterday at Chevrons chalet. Due to being "inexperienced", we were quite cork up with everything. We'll do it better the next time.. and BBQ will be the last time for us.

Hhahahaha.. I was so blur that I totally forgotten about the cupcakes I'd ordered. It was only after the cake cutting then I realised my 12 pcs of Mickey cupcakes are still inside the fridge! Arghh.. Was quite angry with myself apparently but what's done cannot be undone. Sigh...Nevertheless, we had pre-planned to have the cake cutting inside the chalet. That explains why I bought the nice table cloth, balloons decos and etc.. End up, not only my make up got melted, everybody was feeling hot too.

However, Jared still "perform" quite well during the singing of birthday song. We'd been giving him rehearsal at home since 1 week ago so that he could enjoy the special moment. He was clapping his hands away when the birthday song was being sang, and he even shouted with excitement :D

We had breakfast at the Hans Cafe this morning before we checked out. Back home, he opened up his pressies one by one and he goes "eehhhh...hh?" whenever he sees something new.

His pressies ranging from gold pendant, rider cars X2, Fisherprice Activity table X2, Harness Buddy backpack, Ferrari PUMA footwear, Havianas sandals, doddling board X2, vouchers, tractor, clothings, legos & lotsa ang pows! His playroom is now full! Am gonna clear away some toys that he's outgrown from so that he can have a new variety choices of toys to play soon!

We brought Jared to attend Xiao Nat's 1st birthday at his new place in AMK.

As we gotta wait for our little prince to wake up and have his lunch so we only managed to leave the house at 1.30pm! Saw Xiao Nat there, he's too busy with other family members so Jared played with Bosco instead. Well, Bosco has grown so much taller now and is getting smarter & smarter. I must say that Holly really did a good job for taking such good care of Bosco :)

Anyway, we took some pictures inside the car. Jared was so happy!

Celebrated Kylie's 2nd birthday at Ah Yat Abalone Seafood in Turf City. Bro-in-law booked a function room with 2 tables and karaoke systems. The food was alright. It was just some set dinner thingie. Jared had his porridge fed outside home for the 1st time! Apparently I thought we won't be able to handle him alone without Mum's help but at least he stayed good for the one and half hour without making noise. What happened the next half an hour then? Ask me, and I will tell you.

I am already proud enough to say that Jared score 100 points during last night's dinner cum party. And I should also give myself a round of applause for doing well. As promised, I will reward Jared with something for his good performance. I'd never break my promise made to him before. Nevertheless, I won't dissapoint him either this time.

We are now looking forward to the next party on this Saturday when Xiao Nat is celebrating his 1st birthday! Following to that, Jared will also be celebrating his 1st birthday party too. Hehehehhe..

We brought Jared to see Dr Yvonne for his assessment checkup yesterday. It was a long wait despite we made an appiointment to see her at 1030am. Jared is now weighing 9.1kg and 73cm tall. According to Dr Yvonne, Jared belongs to the 50th percentile. Everything is perfecttttt!

We thought his head is kinda big. And even Dr Yvonne says its kinda broad but after measuring his head circumference, the measurement is not big at all. We are glad to know that Jared is growing well. I rate his performance 101% today cause he really behaved very well. He stays still when Dr Yvonne was examining him and he stood as told (with our support of course!) when the nurse wanted to take his height. The both of us (Hubby & I) managed to handle Jared alone without Mummy's help for this 1 and half hour "outing". Hope we have many more to come so that Jared won't cling on to Mummy so much. In fact, I think he forgotten about his 嫲嫲 when we were out during this 1 and half hour. LOL..

As for today, we brought him to the IKEA at Alexandra Road. We got him a new high chair from IKEA as the current one he's using now seems to be taking quite a bit of the space. And I did something silly again today! Was having the hotdog outside IKEA and I forgotten that I'm down with flu and sore throat, I pinched quite a bit of the bread for him to taste for 4 times. It actually came to my mind only when we were on our way back home. I'm so absent-minded!! Arghhh..~ I hope Jared will not get the flu bug from me cause having a running nose is really very terrible, furthermore he's just a baby. Prays prays prays.. I shall keep my fingers crossed and monitor him. Sigh..

Freebies freebies and more freebies! Now that Jared is coming to one year old, the milk powder companies are starting to send him samples packs.

Last week, we recived a 400grams of Gain IQ milk powder from Abbott. And today, we received 4 sachets of Mamil Gold Step 3 from Dumex, accompanied with a dolphin plush toy (so cute!) and some vouchers, that includes a Coverlook voucher for baby. Am going make full use of this voucher and bring Jared for the photo-taking session. Hehehhe..

I'm such a blur mummy :(

As per the health booklet, Jared supposed to go for an assessment check-up between his 6th - 10th month but we missed it. He's already in his 11th month now. Duh... I'd been feeling very upset because of this for the past 3 days. I feel that I'm so useless to have overlooked. Grrr....

Anyway, I've fixed an appointment to see Dr Yvonne See on Sunday for the assessment. Be it if it gonna costs me more going to the PD. I am quite reluctant to bring him to see a GP although its nearer cause of the H1N1.

I am finally done with Jared's photo album. Its so time consuming..~ I've to insert every pictures into the album and sort them according to chronological order, starting from his birth to the most recent ones. To implicate things further, I still gotta look at my soft copies in the computer and tally them with the hard copies. The refill pocket I bought weren't quite enough and I don't wanna buy another pack anymore cause the album is so bulky and heavy now. I tried to squeeze in as much as I could. Did my best le... I think the last few pages is really messed up cause I basically just overlap everything and make it looks like a collage. Wanted to do some labels with captions to make the album more interesting. But, I realised I really can't concentrate cause it gonna cost me a few more hours typing them, printing them, cutting them and inserting them again. The adhesive sheets are already not sticky anymore. *pulls hair* I can't imagine myself doing these all over again...unless there'r ready made ones that I can download on the net. Hehehehe...

Lastly, an update on Jared's teething process. His upper lateral incisor is out! As of today, he has a total of 4 toothies.

Jared turns 11 months today;

He knows how to flip a book slowly now without tearing the pages.

He takes his time flipping pages by pages patiently (he used to be very impatient).

Follow instructions given and pass an item to another person when instructed.

He attempts to wear his own clothes. Best record was when his arm went thru one side of his sleeve.

He reminds us to lock the gate when going out/coming home by pointing at the padlock or by touching it.

Climbs down from the bed and sofa with minimal help.

Trying to let go both hands when cruising around the sofa.

He does the thumb and finger action (though not in the correct way) when he hears the "Incy Wincy Spider" nursey rhymes.

He knows how to feed himself with the xiao mantous.

He attempts to comb his hair with his hairbrush.

He knows that cotton buds can be used to clean his ears.

He attempts to turn the steering wheel in his daddy's car when we put him on our lap at the driver's seat.

He knows how to climb out from his Bumbo seat.

He never forgets to watch Luli every morning at 9:58am (Luli is a baby channel on MioTV Channel 25)

He understand what is "kok kok" 头 and he will bring his head forward to "kok" your 头 when you ask him to.

Point to something he'd dropped (his xiao mantou dropped the other day when he was trying to pincer grip it. I thought he dropped it somewhere in between of his thigh & the high chair and I kept searching for it. Who knows, he pointed to me that its on the floor!).

We are so glad that our little one is getting so bright nowadays. In less than a month's time, we will be celebrating his 1st birthday at Chevrons Chalet. Apparently this party has been planned way before 6months ago *hahahah* and I'm still "fine-tuning it" now. I must not deny that I'm really a kiasu mummy. I want the best for my kid and I hope he can have an unforgettable childhood. That also explains why I am always taking pictures of him, and video recording his every little actions and moments as far as I have the time spent with him. Though I may not be able to give him the BEST of the BEST by bringing him out every weekends, taking him on a holiday to other countries every few months but ensuring that he is well-taken care of and be in good health is my top priority :)

Our dear boy's 3rd toothie has appeared! He's rather cranky for the past 2 days and this morning he woke up at 5.06am crying out loud. We didn't know what he wants but I guess it could be due to teething. During his 1st and 2nd teething, he woke up for 2 nights consecutively crying too. He refused to let us check his gums so the only time we can feel his tooth bud is when we clean his mouth.

Never did I expect that the tooth has grown out quite a bit. Hahahah..

I hope he gets better now and continue enjoying his favorite food and snacks :)

On a side note, I'm really proud that there are significant improvements from him on getting the correct instructions given.

He raised up his arms now when we say 'Jared, arms up!'...
He opens and closes his palms when we sing 'twinkle twinkle little stars..'. .
He says 'barr-bar...- when he sees Barney.
And he goes 'mao mao' (cat in chinese) when we show him flashcards of a cat or an illustrated picture from his storybooks.

Well, I ain't sure if these are just very normal reacts from a 10month old baby but to me, I think he is doing very well.

Am hoping that he learns how to drink from a straw soon :p

Bought a top from OldNavy and the material somehow shrunk. Hahahhaa.. Jared tried wearing it yesterday and it fits him nicely. So, we let him wore out to Vivo City.

We brought his apple purees out in the baby cubes. He's so excited when he saw the clown at Vivo while having his purees. We didn't shop too long cause he was turning sleepy eyes already. Ended our shopping trip with many groceries at the Cold Storage. Mainly the food all belongs to Jared...
Also bought a pack of organic rice cakes for him. Its so expensive! But as long as he likes it, the money spent is all worthwhile.

Jared's birthday party is just 1month & 10days away from now.

I've paid the deposit for the balloon bouquet & walking pets balloon to Kidzpartystore, as well as the cupcakes orders to Crystal Jade. So excited!!.. heheheh..~

And I'm meeting a lady by the name of Helen tomorrow at CCK MRT to collect the deco stuffs. I happened to find an online website selling cheap party stuffs and they do meetups at various MRT station to self-collect. I find their pricing pretty reasonable and convenient for me so I placed my order with her on some latex balloons, balloon pumps and curling ribbons.

Finalised but yet-to-pay orders;

For many donkey times, strangers who see Jared will hestitate for a while before asking if he's a boy or girl? Hahahha.. Ya, Jared is kinda fair and not too big-sized type so most of the times, other people may misunderstood that he's actually a girl. I tried clipping his hair with my hairclip one day when hubby was around he scolded me cause he thinks that its VERY wrong of me by doing that and Jared may grow up becoming a sissy =X

Dear readers,

Advice needed. I started designing Jared's birthday invites since 2months ago. Due to time constraint, I can only managed to do bits by bits. Anyway, I've finished 6 drafts now and seek your advices on which to finalise. =)

Will be sending out the birthday invites 1month before the party date, either by email or Facebook!

Some are repeated designs but with different colour combinations. Jared is too sticky nowadays and needs my full attention when I'm home. The only times I could quietly amend the designs is when he's sleeping. Grrr... He's so mischievious now. He used to love flipping down my laptop screen but now he's getting even more naughty. He will push my laptop screen all the way back and last night I still could hear a "click" sound. Think sooner or later the hinge will breaks.. :( My poor laptop is less than a year old leh..

How time flies.. Jared is now in his 10th month;

He likes to throw things around & expect you to pick up for him.
Starts having 2 porridge meals now. Once in the noon and once in the evening.
Loves eating salmon fish.
Climb up & stand on the sofa by himself.
Sits up inside his sarong.
Entertains himself without our supervision.
Recognises nursery rhymes - open & close his palms when he hears "twinkle twinkle".
Signs "byebye" when we are going out.
Pick out the picture of a cat from his flashcards when we says "meowwww"
Blabbering "mmaaa maaa", "daa-dddaaaa"...
Attempts to "climb" the wall.
Laughs at you when you sneeze.
Feeds himself with baby biscuits.
Eat an apple after every porridge meals. That adds up to 2 in a day!
Remove our spectacles and attempts to wear for us again.

Quite a long list of updated milestones for Jared in his 10th month. We are happy to see that he's growing fast and steady everyday. His birthday party is just 6 weeks away...hehehe. Planning to bring him to the Underwater World during his actual birthday since he likes fishes so much.

Recently I attended a baby seminar talk ; Raise A Little Thinker by Abbott Nutrition at the NTUC auditorium.

The talk was supposed to start at 1pm but end up I waited for liked 1hour and it started at 2pm instead. Singaporeans are terrible. They are not only late, they are also kiasu. Some even hiong the entrance fee.. OMG.

Despite the talk started late, I still see people walking in at 3pm! What the f***? They don't have money to buy a watch is it? Worst still, some participant whom registered for 1pax actually brought along a partner without paying for extra head!

During the refreshment break, they were rushing for food like hungry ghosts. It was already announced that the break starts at 4pm but at 330pm, people were already leaving the auditorium and started Q-ing for their turn at the buffet area. OMG!

Nonetheless, my main motive of attending the talk is to collect my goodie bag! Heheheh..

I received all the items above in good condition and I even spent money buying Einsteins educational books for Jared. Some books were meant for 2yrs old & above but I still bought them cause they were dirt cheap! I almost bought a potty out of impulse cause it was simply too lovely & it actually comes with a potty book!!

Jared loved the GAIN IQ Kid haversack bag very much! He looks like a school boy with the haversack on his back. Shall post up pictures of him with that bag when I've the chance.

We finished dressing up Jared & was all ready to meet Bosco at JP but something cropped up at Holly's side so we changed our meeting date. End up, we brought Jared to Joshua's place to visit Evabelle & to cousin Joanne's place to pick up the Beads Roller Coaster toy from IKEA which I asked her to help me buy.

Popped over to Railmall and buy Jared's groceries after that. Guess what, Jared travelled to 3 places in a day!

I am really amazed by the little actions of Jared. This morning, he bid me goodbye in a correct way by opening and closing his palms as I left the house for work. When I turned my head back as I approached the lift area, he once again open and close his palms. My dear little boy! He really brightens up my day. Love him so much..

Its so interesting to see him grow everyday. Just yesterday, I witnessed him sorting out the busy balls from his toy storage box. Earlier on this month, I bought a Playskool bundle for him and there are this 5 balls that came in a set of 5 pieces of different textures, I was really shocked to see that he could really pick the 5 balls out one by one. I ain't sure if it was just concidence or he simply knows that the 5 balls belong to a set. I can't help but to praise him and give him a kiss... muackz! :)

Frankly, I've been stressed out whenever my MIL asked if Jared has started crawling cause Droydon (whom is 20 days younger) had started crawling when he was at his 6th month. However, Jared still managed to salvage some face for me on Monday night when we brought him back. He started crawling on all fours in front of us. I really wondered how he did that? Did he secretly practised crawling on his own? Heheheh..

Supposed to blog this on the day when Jared turns 9 months but had been busy lately due to shortage of manpower. Many colleagues had resigned/are resigning and slowly, we probably will receiving more new colleagues. Sigh... Its never easy getting to adapt to new working environment, let alone getting to know new colleagues too. We'r keeping our fingers cross now and hopefully the team work among my group and myself will not get weaker.

Jared is now 9 months old;

He starts having fish with his porridge.
He stands on his own with support. eg: by the sofa, by the bedside.. etc..
He shouts at you when he finds you'r too noisy.
He glides on the floor with his tummy down.
He knows how to climb down from his sarong.

Bought 4 organic peaches from Cold Storage last evening. I'd beem searching and looking around for organic peaches since the day we started giving Jared purees but to no avail. I was so glad that I finally found them! The 4 peaches cost me $10.50 and I pureed one for Jared to try today. He loves the taste of it and cried for more. Hahahah!!...

All thanks to the H1N1 thingie now, we are cancelling our cruise getaway for the coming July. Anyway, its of no hurry. We can always go on another day... =) Right now, I'm busy sourcing out the party favours, balloons and food for Jared's birthday chalet. My naughty imp is getting more and more active nowadays. He will bring out his toys one by one and throw them aside if he doesn't like it. If you were to put him on the playmat with all the toys around him (not packed nicely), he won't even bother cause he's only interested to explore them by taking one at a time.

Most importantly, he is super in love with my laptop cause he knows that I will always turn on his favorite Barney, Mickey Mouse cartoon and the Ribena ads on Youtube for him. LOL..

Been sick for a week already and seen the doctor for 3times. Completed 3 types of flu pills given to me but I ain't getting any better. The feeling is horrible cause my head is so heavy, my nose is blocked and my throat is itchy. I can't get near to Jared and I have to wear a mask. The weather is already hot enough and after putting on the mask, I feel even warmer. Duh!...

Hadn't been taking much photos of Jared lately but I promise I will do so for the next few days and also update his growth spurt when I am on leave.

The GSS (Great Singapore Sales) has started and Orchard is sooOoo crowded. Bought Jared a new toy from Playskool. Its a push-along walker and can be easily convert to a step n' ride. Its a very good bundle offer cause the package still comes with 3 other toys from Playskool as well and a set of Pigeon weaning bowl with fork & spoon. On top of that, the purchase also entitles to an additional 10% discount with Takashimaya card. Hee..~

Jared is of course happy with his new toys though he don't really know how to step and ride yet.

I am also in the midst of designing Jared's birthday party invites now. Still can't decide whether I should give him a Barney or Mickey theme cause these two cartoon characters are his top favorites!

Jared is now into Barney ! Hahahaha..

I have never had a good impression of Barney the last time when Kylie (niece-in-law) loves it to bits. Now that I have Jared, I realised that Jared loves Barney as much as Kylie. LOL.. Right now I am starting to like Barney now cause this big-sized purplish dinosaur can make my boy jumps in joy.

Bought him a VCD of Barney last week. He loves the "I Love You" and "If You're Happy and You Know It" song especially. Every now and then I will log on to Barney website and there's a Dance-along jukebox in there that plays all the Barney's Top 20 Countdown. Jared will of course jumps in joy and gets all excited when he see the purplish dinosaur jumping & dancing in front him.

And he has his favorite commercial ads too. Its the Ribena commercial. I think he simply loves the colour purple to max cause the main character in the Ribena commercial ads is also purple colour. Regardless of anything that he's doing, he will definitely stop and focus all his attention on the ads tilll it ends.

We brought Jared for groceries shopping at IMM Giant today. He set his eyes on a small blue cup at Daiso and we thought of letting him "play play" only but who knows, he doesn't wanna let go of the cup so I had to pay for it. Luckily, the cup is from Daiso and everything is going for $2 only otherwise I will be a broke Mummy whenever he refused to let go of something. Nuaghty little Jared.. :D

Now that we had terminated the Starhub CableTV, Jared won't be able to watch any Mickey Mouse Clubhouse every morning at 930am so I brought him to Laser Flair just now and bought him a DVD instead. There's a cleareance sale going on so not too bad. $6.95 for a Mickey Mouse disc and its the last piece some more!

A simple stripe tee and a pair of fleece pants for our little imp. After making several purchases from authentic OldNavy clothings for Jared, I trust their materials to be comfy and soft for babies.

Going for KFC breakfast on every Monday morning at Bukit Panjang Plaza has become a weekly routine for us. Bought some groceries at NTUC this morning after our breakfast and Jared was so so so so happy. Heheheh..

Replenished some 干贝s and ikan bilis from Hock Hua. They are mainly for Jared's porridge.

As usual, he was in his pram when we went to Plaza but his pram became our groceries trolley when we come back cause he refused to sit in it for too long. Haiyo.. 我们都习惯了。

I bought an organic papaya from Rail Mall yesterday so I decided to puree it and give to Jared today but he dislike it!! He gave me a "yuck" face.. He feels disgusted, probably due to the papaya taste. Well, I understand not everyone likes papaya, at least his Dad doesn't. Looking at how poor thing he is, end up I steamed some organic toufu with ikan bilis stock for him. He loves it of course and it ain't his 1st time tasting the steamed mashed toufu.

We spent some quality time together at home. He loves cuddling into me and make my day worthwhile. Not to forget, I snapped lotsa candid shots of him today and a video of him too. He likes to *boooo booo* at me and splatters all his saliva over my face since Saturday. Probably his saliva brings me luck & wealth cause his birth cert. number actually came in 3rd prize on Saturday's 4D. LOL.. Ya, apparently I got some small luck :)

We had another round of Mothers' Day dinner today. It was a long wait..... We got served only after waiting for 1 and half hour. The zi char at Fajar is still as great as ever. They served cheap and nice seafood (but they are always long queue). Little Jared was very co-operative today and he sat still inside his pram while we ate. This year's Mothers' Day will be a memorable one cause its my 1st year celebrating Mothers' Day with Mum and being a Mum myself at the same time. We took the LRT together (Hubby did not drive today) for the dinner and we walked home after that to digest ourselves. Hahaha..

Not to forget, Hubby has bought me the Powershot E1 Canon digital camera in pink today! I really love it!! The functions ain't too complicated to understand and I was also given a 4gb SD card free.

This is the one of the pics I took for Jared. It shows quite clearly on his eyelashes that's curling upwards. LOL... We've received many compliments on his eyelashes that makes him look like a doll doll with mascara. hehehe..*

Oh yah, Jared turns 8mths today!

He sits without support now.
Sleeps shorter during his afternoon naps.
Drinking 180ml now.
Knows how to differentiate meal time and dessert time.
Wants to drink water when he's having his porridge but not when he's having purees.
Runs in his walker.
Says "mumm mumm" and "arrmm.." when he sees food or milk bottle.
Open & close his little palm when we says "byebye" to him.
Has 2 toothies now.
Having slight seperation anxiety now *LOL*
Reverse his walker and dash towards the object which he wants to grab.
Drag & grab everything in the house when he's inside the walker.

Thinking of getting a new digital camera. Been eyeing on the Canon E1 Powershot since the day it was launched but kept dragging & dragging till now.

Since Mothers' Day is coming, I probably will get Hubby to buy it for me cause its my first year celebrating Mothers' Day and being a Mother. LOL... Nonetheless, our 3rd wedding anniversary is just less than a month away! Hehehehe..

Anyway, I set my eyes on this Sony Cybershot too.

Comparing those Canon and the Sony one, the latter has bigger LCD screen and its higher in megapixels. Considering on cost effective factors, the Canon one is better cause it uses AA batteries to operate. Hheheehe.. Most importantly, the Cotton Pink is so nicee... =D

Lalallalalalalala.. Should I get or not? After promoting to become a Mother of Jared, I put him on priority first. Times when I wanna get myself something that isn't really very cheap, I will think of how the money can be used/spent on Jared blah blah blah.. thus I'd delaying myself from getting the Canon E1. This time round, I think most likely I will get it cause the Olympus I am using now kept having problems to detect the memory cards.

Today is the 4th day I'm staying home with Jared. Busy clearing my maternity leaves and I will be back to work on Wednesday. Hehehehe...

On the 1st May, we attended a baby shower at my Big Aunt's place. He was quite well-behaved and even received a big ang pow from my 3rd Aunt cause some of them hadn't seen Jared before. LOL.. For the past few nights, I'd bunked in with Jared. He's my sweetie pie and I'd took lotsa photos of him. I am so glad to witness his development everyday.

I've tried putting him to sit on his own without support (but he has yet to crawl). Indeed he's able to do it now. I was quite worried that he may fall sideways but after much assurance and confidence I seen in him, I can now walk away to pick up my phone or other stuffs without monitoring him. Lastly, I specifically uploaded a pic of Jared sitting on his own. His facial expression is so cute lor..

Jared is really one lucky boy! He has a wondeful Grandma that cooks really yummilicious food for him, a Mum (which is me~) who loves to buy things for him and letting him try new stuffs every now & then, a Dad who has no temper & giving in to him for whatever he wants.

Till date, Jared has tried a wide range of fruits & veggie purees, Yoplait Yogurt, toothiepegs, Vanilla Custard, barley cereals, rice cereals etc...

Of all the food we'd introduced to him, his all-time favorite will be;

Our little imp is starting to have seperation anxiety now. He cries when we walks away, leaving him to play on his own. Mum has been complaining that he's so sticky nowadays that she can't even leave for a minute to wash and sterilised the bottles. His 2 toothies has shown now and he loves biting every little thing that he grasp. The other day, he dragged his pram which was left stationary at a corner in the living area. He was all quiet as he dragged the pram along in his walker.. And we were quite shocked to see that he actually had dragged it from the foyer to the kitchen. Hahahhaah..

This afternoon, he grabbed Mummy's newly bought HP (less than 5hours) and threw it on the floor! *oppss...* Well, who would bear scolding an ignorant baby like him? He's such a cutie pie.. I wanna hug him to sleep every night. Will be staying home for today & tomorrow to keep him accompanied (clearing my maternity leaves), Thursday is a working day for me and I will be home again from 1st - 5th May!.... This sounds very shiok to most of you but it will be my turn to suffer from seperation anxiety when I returned to work on the 6th!

We brought Jared to Joshua's place today for Evabelle's baby shower. Little Princess is so cute and has grown a lot (photos will be up soon~). Met up a few of my colleagues & customers there too.. We left after a shoft while as Jared nap time was near.

Took a few pics of Jared wearing his OldNavy top at Joshua's void deck. Our Mr. Mischievious is so happy today and he's so concerned with Evabelle when she cries. He seems to know that Evabelle is his meimei and wanted to give her a hug when she cries as he leaned forward.

Will be attending another baby shower this Friday at my Big Aunt's place. Most likely we'll be bringing Jared along this time since most of my paternal relatives hadn't seen Jared before except for Big Aunt & 2nd Aunt. And on Saturday, we'll be dining outside for advanced Mothers' Day dinner together with Grandma and my cousins...

I bought Jared a couple of tops from OldNavy when he was still a newborn. Most of them were meant for 3-6months, 6-12mths...

There's a very nice long sleeve top that we'd always wanted to let him wear for gai-gai but due to hot weather lately, we hadn't got the chance to do so. Today, Mum brought the top out of Jared's wardrobe and tried it on him. Apparently, its for 3-6months old. Jared fit in snugly but he's gonna outgrown it very soon. What a waste of money again!?! LOL..

Anyway, I took pictures of Jared wearing that OldNavy top. At least he wore it for that few minutes & I'm contented. Self-console uh...? hehehe...

I realised that he's getting more and more alike to his cousin now. Hopefully, he will be as smart as them when he gets older. Hahhaha..

Though he can be really naughty and fussy at times especially during this teething stage when but he never fails to bright up my morning everyday cause he's the first person I see when I wake up.

Yesterday, we brought him to the NTUC fairprice and I bought a box of Organic teething rusks for him. He's so smart and he knows how to hold his own toothiepegs. He chewed on the toothiepegs for almost 30mins and he even knows how to switch from his right hand to the left hand when the rusk is almost finishing. I was quite shocked to see that he's so smart, really. Apparently I thought he will continue holding the toothiepeg till he's tired cause he'd finished chewing the top part and he can never chew the bottom part with his hand holding to it. Who knows, he switches to another hand and he hold it by the bottom instead. Hahahaha..

The next interesting incident about him happened in the evening. As he loves to explore every little corner of the house, he is so curious with the dark room (our master bedroom with all lights off). He walks in his walker and approached Mummy, seems to be telling her to follow him to the "dark room". Mummy walks behind him with her fingers held by Jared as he led the way. Suddenly he stopped... and Mummy didn't know what he wants so she walked back to the sofa. This time round, Jared walked towards Mummy again in his walker. He used both of his hands and held on to Mummy's hands, somehow asking her to follow him again. So Mummy followed suit... Then, they entered the master bedroom. Jared held Mummy's fingers and stopped in front of the washroom. Mummy knew that he wanna see what's inside the washroom so she turned on the lights.. Guess what Jared did? He jumped in joy!! *faint*... Small little things can make Jared a happy baby. SO cute of him!!

Jared's 2nd tooth bud is forcing its way out. Hurray! Our little imp has 2 toothies now.

For the past 2 nights, he'd been waking up in the middle of the night crying. Guess his little toothies are giving him such reactions so he's really irritated. Soothed his gums using Dentinox teething gel and of course it helped a little. He fell asleep after applying a small amount on his gums but occasionally he's still very pek cek.

Brought him for the swimming lesson again last Monday. We went to the outlet at PS. To our surprise, there wasn't any baby there on that day when we went. Jared took his own sweet time soaking in water & looking at the uncles & aunties outside the glass door. He's so mischievious & curious! The ladies at Hua Xia kept looking at Jared's eyes cause his eyelashes are curling up to his eyelid. Hahahah.. Thanks for their compliments when they said Jared has very nice eyelashes. Our little imp has very bad temper at times too! I am having phobia of him screaming when he's super irritated. I better keep my fingers crossed that he won't behave like other naughty boys who rolls on the floor inside the shopping mall when he gets older. Heheheh..

Hadn't got much time to blog lately. Too lazy to log on to internet and my Can Can on FB Pet Society is surrounded by flies now. Hahaha..

Jared is officially 7months old now;

He's drinking 160ml FM now.
On semi solid food twice a day. Once at 12noon for his porridge and his fruit puree in the late afternoon.
Sleeps thru the night till the next morning for his feed.
Humpty Dumty when sitting up. But he's improving bits by bits everyday. Now he's able to sit without our hands support for 30seconds.
Little tooth bud has grow.
Has a new language now. He goes "ddaaa ddaaa daadaadaa.."
Loves watching Mickey Clubhouse on Ch 34 every morning @930am.
Attempting to crawl forward when he's on tummy.
Open and close his palms when we says "Bye Bye".

Another good news is, we have finally book the last chalet unit at Chevrons. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get the premium unit which has a TV in the bedrm and bathtub but I'm already happy enough to get a unit to celebrate Jared's 1st birthday. Heheheh...

Though its like 5mths away from now but I've done some planning already. High chance we'll be having a BBQ and will be ordering the BBQ food from an online wholesale site. I've heard good comments about the BBQ wholesale online and I reckon its worth trying out. Most importantly, its hassle-free for us cause they will prepare everything and marinade the food for us as well! ...

Its not gonna be something very elaborate nor grand cause Jared is still too young to understand & remember. The purpose of organising the chalet is to bring the family members together and have some fun time relaxing. Moreover, I hadn't BBQ-ed for donkey years. LOL..

Jared's new COMBI pram arrived at our doorstep today! He's in love with his new pram and enjoy sitting in it.

Some hiccups on the chalet booking now. Hopefully everything can be resolved and we'll be able to secure a unit by this weekend cause Jackie ain't able to book out of camp and go down personally to make the payment for me within this 3 days. The system is quite sucky, isn't it? Most chalet/resorts booking & payment are available online through VISA or Mastercard but the one at Chevrons doesn't allow us to do so.

Its a day to remember. Was bathing Jared just now and realised that he is teething! Little tooth bud can be seen on the bottom row (middle right).

I did a search on teething process at my favorite BabyCenter website. Extracted the article below to share;

The vast majority of babies sprout their first teeth when they're between 4 and 7 months of age. An early developer may get his first white cap as early as 3 months, while a late bloomer may have to wait until he's a year old or more. (In rare cases, a baby's first tooth is already visible at birth.) Teeth actually start developing while your baby's in the womb, when tooth buds form in the gums. Teeth break through one at a time over a period of months, and often — but not always — in this order:

I was having lunch at Taka yesterday and happened to passby the Cold Storage. Found there's this Organic Vanilla Custard thingie by Heinz on the shelf and since I'm a dead hard fans for organic stuffs so I did not hesitate much. Tried it on Jared today and he loves it. Was crying for more when I walked to the kitchen and wash the bowl. LOL..

Anyway, I mixed 30ml of formula milk & 3 teaspoon of the Vanilla Custard,with cooked apples (smashed). The taste is very nice and not too sweet. Jared smells of vanilla flavour after I fed him. Hehehehe...

Its Qing Ming today. Hubby and I woke up early to go to 三清宫 for the praying. The temple was flooded with people and the car park was full. We were lucky to secure a table for our offerings and everything went on well. The whole thingy took us about an hour and my eyes were tearing cause its very smoky!! Grr...

Headed to Rail Mall to replenish Jared's groceries. Imagine 2 pears at the price of $6.50. I doubt not every parent would do that but we did! We wanted the best for our little one so all food he's taking are certified organic. Our plan is to let him take organic food for as long as possible, hopefully till he turns one.

In the afternoon, we brought Jared to visit meimei. Little Evabelle has grown so much and she's getting prettier and cuter now. The sore area on her head during the vaccum delivery has healed and she's so sweettttt~ *_^

Jared was cranky at first when we reached Joshua's place cause his feeding time was near. He resumed back to his cheeky behaviour after being fed. Naughty him.. and we went to IMM after that. He was sooooo well-behaved thru out and was still giggling loud when he sees his favorite Mickey Mouse! We finally bought a nice photo album to slot in his photos which we'd took for the past 6mths+.

Notice his mouth? He kept doing this for these 2 days by : his lower lips and smiled at us! Naughty little him....

Oh yah, and we've decided to book the chalet at Chevrons for Jared's 1st birthday. Its more convenient for us and also most of our friends/colleagues & relatives are residing at west side. Its gonna be a very long journey for us if we were to book the Downtown East chalet which is at Pasir Ris :)

The arrival of Baby Evabelle, on 26th March 2009 at Raffles Hospital. She weighs 3020 grams at birth and she's really adorable. We visited both Mummy & baby for 2 consecutive days at Joshua's place and also to help out with their newborn. Looking at how tiny the baby is, I missed those days when Jared was still a newborn. Heheheh.. so cute!

Joshua went to look for 游龙子 too, to get Evabelle's chinese name. They have decided to use 煊潓。 Very nice and unique handwriting characters. Looking forward to Baby Evabelle's full month celebration.

I have uploaded 2 videos of Jared. Both were taken last week when he was having his apple puree & walking around the house in his walker when he spotted Disney Mickey on Channel 34.

Apparently he stopped and watch the cute Mickey & Minnie jumping. Wanted to capture his funny expressions but it was too late.

I'm having stiff neck right now. Not that I did not sleep well last night, in fact I slept too well cause I bunked in with Little Jared on the queen sized bed at Mum's room. This little imp of mine occupied almost 3/4 of the bed and in order not to wake him up from his sleep, I gotta make do with the tiny space. I tilt my head to the right for the whole day at work! Its terrible!! I reckon most of the customers might thought that I have slanted neck or what!

Jared went for his ECA again today! We brought him to Habourfront Centre for a swim. He was enjoying himself very much and kicking water in the tub but there's a toddler who was crying like there's no tomorrow while having his haircut. He was screaming & shouting till the glass gonna break any time. Jared got agitated and begin to be cranky. I was jumping mad (of course!) cause another baby started crying too. End up, all babies inside Hua Xia were crying. Naturally, our dear little Jared cried too and refused to stay in water anymore.

Carried him out of the water to comfort him and we ended the swimming lesson lasted for a mere 20minutes. Its such a waste of money.. and I ain't pleased at all. For 2 consecutive lessons, Jared met those crying babies as his neighbour and indirectly affected his mood & behaviour. We ain't gonna bring him to Habourfront the next time anymore! Maybe we should try going to Plaza Singapura instead on a weekday.

Anyway, Jared calmed down after we dressed him. Went over to the shop opposite Hua Xia to top up his organic groceries again before proceeding to Vivo. His Daddy bought him a reversible hat at Pumpkin Patch as there's 20% discount for UOB cardholders. Its a good buy cause Jared looks good in that hat.

Apparently, we took some pictures of him wearing different designs.

We bought the last one for him! I think the second one is nice too..~sigh, should have bought both.

We finally made up our mind and bought Jared a new COMBI pram. We got the well-lite pram yesterday morning at the baby fair. It weighs not more than 5kg and its very light as compared to the previous pram (Capella) which was 8.5kg! Decided not to buy the Maclaren one cause it can't be fully reclined and the metal structures seems to be quite hurting. Anyway, I wasn't quite pleased with the purchase cause I realised that the canopy is kind of slanted, or should I say its out of shape? Not sure what happens but I will check it out with the promotor on Tuesday when I return back to work lor. Sigh..

We went thru so much of research and looking around at TANGS, Mothercare, Metro & finally at Takashimaya but still end up getting a pram with a canopy that is slightly defective. Probably we were too used to the Capella we had, now I find that the COMBI one looks quite small and cramp for Jared.

Oh ya, received a letter from MCYS. The $1000 baby bonus has been credited again! LOL.. We'r half way there now, another $2k pending.

Jared woke up early this morning. Probably he knows we'r going out and its gonna be a long car journey so he didn't wanna miss the moments. We reached Bedok at 10.15am.. We gave him milk at the reception office before going up to the columbarium area to pay our respect to my late father. Jared was very well-behaved and he even put his palms together (with our assistance of course!) and pray. His eyes were all focused on the offerings we placed on the table, as well as Dad's tablet in the glass case.

Jared even poo-ed when we were there. Naughty little him... hehehe. We stayed there for about an hour or so before leaving for ICA. It was raining heavily but the rain stopped when we reached Lavender. Apparently I thought its gonna be a long queue at the counter for passport collection cause its the school holidays right now. But who knows, we waited for less than a minute and it was our turn already. Hubby gave up his parking coupon to another driver who took our lot. Hahahaa..

Jared looks good in his new passport photo. He's getting sleepy as we drove our way back home & fell asleep in his car seat.

Jared is extremely good today. To my our surprise, he behaves very well today. Its really something worth bringing up. Probably, he knows today is 二月十九 aka known as 观音诞 so he is in his best form today.

We brought him for his 3rd dose of Hexa (6-in-1) jab today. Waited for 30mins at the clinic despite we were the next one in queue. We were quite furious and impatient cause Jared's feeding time was approaching as each minute drifts away. Will be bringing him out early tmr morning cause its Dad's 3rd death anniversary & we'r going to 三清宫 to pay our respect. Jared will be going with us as well cause I reckon Dad wants to "see" him too. I pray that Jared will come back well-behaved & everything will goes well. After our praying session, we will head down to ICA & collect Jared's passport! Yipppee!! Yes, his passport application has been approved. I never expect that the photo we submited will get approved for the 1st attempt. Lalalalalalala..

Its getting late now. Everyone in the house is asleep, including Jared. I better go to sleep too.. tmr is another busy day!

At Jared's 6th month;

He's able to flip on his tummy and back without assistance.
He walks in his walker around the house. Be it forward, backwards or sideways.
He can swim and splash water when we place him inside the big tub at Hua Xia.
He likes to go gai-gai.
He starts to "boooo" at us with his saliva.
He sleeps with his buttock high up in the air occasionally.
He's eating porridge now.
He'd switched to Similac follow-on now and still drinking 160ml.
He'd completed Rotateq and Peunmoccocal jabs.

My naughty little boy is so mischeivious at times. When he behaves well, he's indeed very nice but when he turns nasty, he can tear the whole house down. His passport application has been sent to ICA to prcoess. We'r awaiting for the confirmation email/letter to collect his passport... hhehe.... His 1st birthday is 6mths away from now. Do we need to start planning for him? Its gonna be a hassle planning for a party I know.

On Saturday, Hubby & I attended my cousin's wedding at Mandarin Oriental. It was a wedding lunch, simple and nice :)

We left Jared at home under Mummy's care cause he was still asleep when we were about to leave the house. Moreover, I reckon he's gonna make a fuss when he's lack of sleep so we left him at home instead. Hehehehe..

Jared went for his 2nd swim at Hua Xia yesterday! He was fast asleep when we put him in his car seat and woke up only when we reached the car park. Probably he was tad too tired and I think he didn't enjoy as much as his 1st swim.

The other babies were crying and making so much noise. Somehow or rather, I think their cries kinda affected Jared too. He was too busy looking at those babies who were crying and must be damn shocked too. LOL~ You know when 1 baby cries, the other will follow suit. We are so lucky that Jared wasn't the 3rd one who cried with them.

We had our lunch at the nearby food court and soon left for Joshua's place after shopping for his organic groceries just opposite of Hua Xia. Passed the big pot to Joshua's wife and the personalised pillow case for his baby. How time flies, little princess of Joshua & Wife is popping by end of the month. Looking forward to see little princess ya... Their 3D & 4D scan done at Raffles Hospital was very very clear. Little princess was so co-operative and the gynae managed to snap pics of her from different views. She ressembles Arvinna (Joshua's wife) so much and its just like a photo-copy of her. Kekekeke..

Jared loves his walker now! The lady from Rent-that-toy is coming to pick up the Jumperoo tomorrow morning. In fact, Jared "abandon" the Jumperoo now cause he prefer the walker more. He's able to walk forward, backward, sideway and change his directions now as long as we used something to attract him. Good job baby! Mummy didn't know that you could learn things so fast.

The NATAS fair just ended yesterday and nope we didn't managed to book any packages cause the latest departure dates were for the June holidays. Anyway, we decided to go during the October/November period when Jared gets older. One of the destinations we are looking at is KOREA! Yeah!! We'r hoping to go there during their Autumn season cause its more cooling and not so humid. Anyway, Korea is one of the country we will consider..

Jared is getting smarter nowadays. He can jump and bounce in his Jumperoo in a very fast speed non-stop! His left feet is doing the "stamping" all the time and bringing the force to the ground. I wonder how he do it sia.. If I were him, I'm sure to be panting all the way! He has really good stamina lor. Anyway, the rental period will be up soon. Decided not to extend anymore cause we intend to buy him a walker instead. He had fun "walking" inside Droydon's walker when we brought him back to MIL's place. He's able to "walk" to the side direction and reverse direction. Hehehehe.. Since Droydon is 3 weeks younger than Jared & he'd already started "walking" in walker, of course we'r not gonna let Jared lose out. Shall get Hubby to go shopping together this cominf weekend to get Little Jared a walker!

Jared gonna miss him Daddy so much cause Daddy just went for his reservist this morning early in the morning when the Sun has not rised.

Jared is very good at grabbing things now. He will grab my face when I carry him facing me. Occasionally he will just use both hands and grab my whole face (left & right) then give me a kiss on my lips! He's such a sweetie.. For now, Jared is my everything and part of my life!

We supposed to bring Jared for his 2nd swim at Hua Xia yesterday but it was raining heavily when we were about to leave the house. Sigh.. thus Jared's "ECA" was cancelled. Went out for dinner at Rail Mall and stocked up some sweet potatoes & sweet corns for him.

He had his 3rd dose of Prevenar (pneumococcal) jab last night. He was in his best form last night when he had the jab. His face did turned a little red when the syringe went in but he did not cry for more than 5 seconds. My role was to divert his attentions and make him laughs, of course he did! Finally after 3 doses of Prevenar, he can take a break from all those painful jabs. The next booster jab for Pneumococcal will be after he turns 1 year old. As for his 6th month (which is next month), he will complete his 6-in-1 vaccinations. Phew~

I have little Jared to celebrate my birthday with me this year and he's the god's gift to us. He is extremely happy today! He kept smiling and giggling away for the whole day. We brought him to Bukit Timah Plaza's NTUC Fairprice Finest to buy his organics' groceries. He was so well-behaved today and we are glad that he's very co-operative.

We received the customised taggies blanket from Mr. Postman yesterday already. I joined a bulk purchase spree from SMH and finally after 4 weeks of waitin, the taggie arrived from US to Singapore few days ago. Jared loves his new taggie soOOoo much and has been constantly playing with the tags and loops. Am so glad that the amount I paid is wisely spent.

Anyway, our little master has learnt lotsa new stuffs now. I'm so upset whenever I gonna bid him goodbye every morning when I go to work. How I wish I could spend more time with him and be the first to acknowledge his newly learnt skills. Moreover, he's getting more and more "hong xim" now. He likes to go gai gai, though its just at the lift lobby area or along the corridor. As our place is very windy, Jared simply loves the breeze and he will kick & jump when we bring him out of the house. Occaisonally when we bring him to the main door, he will attempt to touch the padlock and trying to tell us that he wanna go out. Smart boy leh he..

Nonetheless, he loves apple very much! He's able to finish half an organic apple (made into puree) and sometimes even cry for more. He's even faster than the spoon! He finished his 1st mouthful before we can scoop the 2nd mouthful. His "pattern" really resembles Bosco when he made that kinda funny cries to "as" for more.. HAHAHAHAHA..~

I was too gan cheong in getting the car seat belt holder for Jared already thus I joined the bulk purchase from SMH. Though I managed to save $2.90 overall but then I realised the Kiddy Palace at Lot One is actually selling it. Stupid salesgirl from Kiddy Palace at Causeway Point told me that they don't carry Kiddopotamus stock! Grrrr...>.< So right now, the next item we'r awaiting for is the car seat belt holder from Kiddopotamus.

We brought Little Jared to Habourfront Centre today. It was a last minute decision that we decided to bring him for his first swimming lesson at Hua Xia. Apparently I didn't know Jared would love it sooo much and was thinking of letting him have a trial swim first. Who knows, he simply love it to bits so I signed up a package for him.

1 out of 4 tubs was available only and we were lucky to have the one and only tub when we arrived. Didn't wait too long though, and Jared was all excited when he saw other didis and meimeis swimming in the tub. The staffs at Habourfront Centre were very nice...and Jared enjoys his swim sooOOo much. Despite its his first swim, but he can kick very well.

He was quite tired after swimming for about 20mins and slow down his movements. We didn't want him to catch a cold and decided to bring him up from the tub. He was still smiling and looking around. I thought he would cry out loud when we do that cause other babies were crying out so loudly when they were being brought up from the tub.

Our little imp fell asleep in the car not long after we start our journey back home. Poor thing me travelled all the way to The Rail Mall for some grocerie shopping. There's a shop there by the name of Sunny Choice Organic Store. They sell really fresh & wide variety ranges of veggies, babies biscuits, purees and ingredients there... Jared is blessed to have such a good mummy like me cause all ingredients made for him are organics & they are so much more expensive.

Now that Jared has approached his 5mth month, we start getting busy once again to source for the best baby food ingredients for him.

First and for most, I bought the new PIGEON weaning bowl & spoon for him to start with. And yesterday, I bought a mini blender from Philips at Takashimaya. Well, there was a promotion going on and I bought it for 59bucks only. The blender is kinda useful and it came with 3 types of breaker, attached with a mini recipe book for baby food preparations. Hehehhee..

Last but not least, we went to several supermarket and source for the Healthy Times Barley Cereals. Finally, we managed to get it today at the Lot One NTUC. A kind mummy from IdoBaby forum has told me about this eco-farm in Lim Chu Kang that has organic fruits, veggies available & they even offer delivery with a min. of $30 purchase. Guess I must find one day to go to the farm for some touring & know more about their plantations. LOL..

According to the calendar date, its Jared's 5th month today. We decided to let him start on semi-solid. Mummy mixed a tea spoon of rice cereal into the sweet vegetables pureed from Heinz and added some formula milk to make it more watery. Am glad to know good feedback from Mummy that Jared is happy with his new food and eating well. We shall stick to the 4 days rule and monitor Jared for any food allergies.

Jared is really our smart boy. We were quite worried to realise he hasn't start flipping when he turned 4 months old cause Droydon could flipped when he was merely 3 months+ and of course stresses & pressures fell onto us when the in-laws were asking around... But today, Jared suprised us by flipping on his tummy without any signs. He hadn't been practising his flipping exercise at all and we had been calling him lazy boy all these while. Who knows, he flipped on his own today. Its quite shock to us cause there's a saying in cantonese; “无声无声，吓你一惊”。Jared indeed 吓我们一惊 lor.. LOL. My clever boy, you are always full of suprises to Mummy, Daddy and Grandma. Gonna smack your pigu one day when you gets older.

Went shopping at Causeway Point the other day & top up some neccessities for Jared at Kiddy Palace. Mothercare at Causeway Point was having up to 70% sales on some items and I found a good deal on one of the thick jacket, suitable for cold weather. It was going for 18bucks only whereas the usual price was 70plus.

Without questions asked, I paid for the jacket at the cashier. Though we won't be bringing Jared overseas so soon (I bought the 9-12mths size anyway) but thinking that its suchs a good deal, I did not hesitate much. Hahaha.. Anyway, this jacket serves as a very good motivation for me right now cause it reminds me not to over-spend from now onwards so that we can save more money for some shopping sprees if we are really travelling overseas one fine day together with Jared.

Jared finally has his new car seat! We brought him to Baby Hyperstore & Baby Kingdom at Kaki Bukit today. There ain't much ranges at Hyperstore and seems like they carry more on MaxiCosi's so we went to the latter instead. In the end, we bought Jared a Britax Safe & Sound car seat. The car seat has 5 positions and Jared can sit until when he turns 4years old. Though I find the price a little steep @ $399 but Daddy wants the best for Little Jared & comfy is very important so we go ahead with the purchase.

It seems like Jared enjoys his new car seat a lot! We tried putting him in the car seat and he was jumping with joy & kept looking at the lady who was installing the seat for us. We placed him in his new seat on our journey back home. Ok baby, since you'r such a good boy.. Mummy is gonna get something for you to play in the car since you have a new seat now. Probably I will be getting some hanging mobile or things can move for you. Alright? Heheheh..

I am sick... down with flu + nose blocked + sore throat & I am losing my voice any time!

Work was super busy today and the customers came in as early as 10am, Q-ing outside. We worked non-stop from 11am and only went for 30mins lunch break today! I stayed back for an hour to help them clear some bad logs before coming home. Poor hubby gotta wait for me for an hour extra before coming to fetch me. And I missed accompanying Jared for an hour too, for coming back late =(

Gonna attend CS meeting tomorrow morning at 945am. Duh.. So tired.

Hello people! 恭禧发财，万事如意 to all and may all be well for this moo moo year..

Too tired & lazy to blog much. CNY this year was rather quiet...

I got a fever on the CNY eve and my temperature hit up to 37.5degree C. Though 37.5degree C ain't consider high to some of you but I was aching everywhere. I merely had half a piece of ba gua on the eve of CNY eve and this happen to me. Needless to say, I self-medicated lor. Had Panadol extra & doped the muscle relaxant pills. Felt much better on 初一 but still not in top form lah!

As usual, visited my Grandma on the 1st day of CNY & went back to my in-law place. Jared cried the moment when we entered my in-law's place. It was a total dissapointment cause I thought he will behave well just like how he did at my Grandma's place. Anyway, its over. I am not so stressed now anymore. Heee =D~

Jared collected more than 20 ang baos for these few days but I'm too lazy to make it an effort and open every ang baos to calculate. Shall wait till the 十五吧！

Holly & Teresa brought their precious to our place today! I am so angry with Jared cause he was such a piggy & was very dao when kor kors came over for visiting. He did not smiled much, neither did he play nor show much excitement when seeing visitors. Not long after he had his feeding, he went back to sleep. Duh! And just now he woke up in the evening feeling all fresh & high that he kept shouting and jumping for joy! So paiseh to wake Xiao Nat up from his sleep when Jared wanted to have the place instead. This Jared ah, very naughty lor!

Busy like a bee~*~*~*~*~....

We went on a quick shopping spree to town today! First and for most, we dashed into GUCCI and ~~grabbed~~ bought two bags for CNY. One for Mummy and one for myself.. Thanks Mum! I really love my new GUCCI bag cause its so freaking spacious & not too expensive. Kinda regret buying the COACH bag the other time. I have not even start using that COACH bag and I am already feeling so regretful. Its gonna big a big loss to me if I were to sell it away now cause I have not even start using it ONCE! Damn..

Anyway, we will be going to Chinatown later for some sight-seeing and see if there's any good bargains or not. Time seems to be running out and so many things yet to complete.
Gonna wake up early tmr morning and head down to Bedok temple to pay respect to Daddy, Grandpa & Grandma. *yawns*...

2 months ago, I submitted Jared's photo to participate in the Pampers Photo Contest on Mumcentre & he emerged as the winner for that particular week. Remember? Today, I received an email from Mumcentre saying that they gonna send over the prize. Hmmm...~wondering what prize is it? I tried surfing the website but seems like they don't state the prize at all. So mysterious sia.. LOL..

Anyway, we are supposed to received the new farm playmat today but to no avail.I'm so worried that the mail is lost now! According to the spree organiser, the parcel was mailed out on Tuesday & many others had already received their item. How come mine is not here yet? Oh no... Little Jared is anticipating to see the postman! Hopefully no lost mail ya.

Nonetheless, I went shopping at Aussino again! Bought a jersey blanket for Jared & its so comfortable and soft. Its his favorite cartoon character - Pooh Bear with piglet. Heheheh... Will get it wash tonight so that Jared can use it during the weekends. He's good at pulling & grabbing things around him now. I bet he's not gonna let the Pooh Bear off this time..

The toy rental company people are coming tomorrow to send us the Jumperoo that I've rented for Jared. Apparently they wanted to come during the fourth day of CNY but I requested them to expedite cause I really wish Jared could have some time playing with the Jumperoo during the festive season. Luckily, the person in-charge was nice and prompt enough. They actually promised to send tomorrow between 3pm - 5pm! Hurray!! Jared has something new to play & explore again. I've read many good feedbacks about the Jumperoo rental. Some mummies have commented that the item is as good as brand new & its really worth renting. And so I decided to give it a try and rent for Jared instead.

In fact, its the Deluxe version Jumperoo instead of the latest edition Rainforest type. Whatever it is, as long as it can jump.. its good enough liao. LOL..

Mummy bought me a bumbo baby sitter the other day at Kiddy Palace. The blue one is nice but Mummy bought the green one instead cause green is good for the eyes..

I love it to bits & I enjoy sitting in my new bumbo seat.

On a side note, Mummy is experiencing post-natal hair loss. She has been dropping lotsa hair lately & feeling very annoyed. I think Mummy is gonna cut her hair short very soon. Poor Mummy.. :p

Our little imp went to visit his Great-Grandma today! He's considered a good boy today though he did pout for a short while the moment we enter Grandma's house. After looking around for 10mins, he "accepted" the surroundings & starts to coo and chuckles when we play with him.

Taken these before leaving the house. Little imp was looking good & very cheerful. Isn't he?
We stayed at Grandma house for a short while only. Hubby then drove us to Chinatown cause I wanted to buy the vegetarian paus for CNY. Bought a dozen of them & the aunty is happy to see me once again. LOL...

Brought little imp to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. He's really a devoted baby I would say. We put both his hands together when praying to the 弥勒佛 and the moment we step into the hall of 六臂如意轮观音, Jared put his hands together again unassisted. He's soooOOoo cute!! I've never expect him to react this way & I thought he would cry when we bring in to a new place. I guess he probably knows that 观音娘娘 has been watching over him ever since his birth.

Nevertheless, Jared had his 2nd dose of Pneumoccocal jab today at Dr Tan's clinic. He cried for a short while, much shorter than the 1st jab he took. My brave little boy, you've grown up so much.. Mummy is so proud of you though you always look so poor thing to be poked every month for injections but all these are for your own good, alright? As long as Mummy & Daddy could afford, we won't hestitate to give you all the very best we can. You must be a good baby & behave yourself ok!

To date, Jared had administered 2 doses of Pneumoccocal jabs, 2 doses of 6-in-1 Hexa & completed 3 doses of Rotateq vaccines.

Jared is getting very noisy & naughty lately. He loves to pull up his shirt and bite them, play with his blankets and handkerchiefs. At times, he will even play with my fingers when I am touching him. He'd filled us with lotsa fun and laughters. Even the Daddy also says he's getting very sian when going to work nowadays. I thought he'd always been very hardworking & so enthusiastic with his work? LOL~

Jared will be getting his toys & stuffs again! I've joined a bulk purchase on Singapore Motherhood & custom-made a taggies blanket for Jared. Apparently, I've considered for 3 days before I made the payment AND I'm glad I did because the supplier just stock in some nicer fabrics last evening. weeet~

CNY is drawing nearer & nearer! 3 years ago, I love CNY every year but ever since the demises of my Dad in 2006, I deem to dislike CNY now. I hate it when I know Daddy is no longer around to eat reunion dinner with us. I feel very upset cause we can only bring him his favorite food & CNY goodies to the temple where he's resting now. All we can see is his tablet & his urn. I hate it, seriously! At times, when I see kids having their Grandpa bringing them to the market or coffeeshop, I really feel very sad. How I wish my Dad is still around & he'll be able to see Jared, bringing him to market/coffeeshop for breakfast just liked what other kids so. Sigh~... :~~~(

We brought Jared to the new Jurong Point this afternoon. Today's trip is the most successful & peaceful one we had so far. LOL.. He was looking everywhere curiously the moment we reached. Well, I think the air con plays a part too cause Jared loves cold cold all the time. We were so so so so glad that he didn't make a fuss. Phew~~!!

All of us managed to buy something for the day & go for fittings without worrying that he'll cry cause he fell asleep not long after that & only woke up for his milk when the time was up. Bought him a new NUK milk bottle, a new pacifier, a romper set for CNY, replenished half a dozen of PIGEON wet wipes, an extra 摇篮布, half a dozen of wash cloths for him. He's such a cutie pie to us and we'r sure loving him to bits.

Oh yah, yesterday I really went to IKEA lor. I woke up early in the morning and Hubby sent me to Jurong East MRT station before I starts my train journey to IKEA at Alexandra Road. Duh! The spinning mobile toy with fishes & horses is nowhere to be found. Hence, I bought another design which is not spinning as much as the fishes one. Sad! I don't wanna waste my trip going there so I tell myself I DEFINITELY must get something for Jared. 路途遥远 leh...

Jared don't seems to like it as much as the other one he saw at Dr Tan's clinic last night. Mummy's heart is broken into pieces... So sad.

We brought Jared to the market today! As usual, he starts to wail the moment we enter the LRT cabin. Well, I would say that he's got frightened by the big crowds of aunties & uncles inside the LRT cause it was quite packed and humid inside the cabin. He must have thought that they were monsters thus he wailed the moment he sees something that he's not familiar with! However, we tried comforting him and very soon he quiet down. Managed to still shop for groceries, bought 4D and Q-ed for the roti pratas.

Despite Mummy has been bringing him out lately to make him adapt to the new environment & faces in the neighbourhood, but he's still not getting used to it. So, we decided to give it a second try.

So, we brought him to Green Ridge just now. Indeed he wails again the moment we reach the place. LOL... but he sort of "accepted" the environment & people when we brought him to Shop & Save (cause got air-con & its cold cold, so he likes lor~). Since the clinic was still open so registered for his Hexa 6-in-1 jab, as well as the Rotateq vaccines. Am glad to say that Jared has completed the 3 doses of Rotateq now, meaning he needs not take his Rotateq anymore. Yippee!! Will be bringing him for his 2nd dose Peunmoccocal next weekend cause I can't bring myself to let him have 2 injections in a day. Very poor thing one lor..

Jared was so so so excited just now when we were inside Dr Tan's room. As Dr Tan was doing the developement assessment check on him, he spotted the spinning mobile toy which was hung on the ceiling. He started shouting, coo-ing & chuckles with his legs kicking & rubbing one another. Even the clinic assistants also came in to look at Jared & commented he's soooOOo cute. LOL.. I think the other patients must have thought that Jared is enjoying himself very much even when he's having his injection.

Anyway, of course Jared did cried for a mere 5 seconds when the syringe was pulled out. After a while, he started crying & looking around. At Jared's 4th month; he weighs 6.9kg & 67cm long.

This is the spinning mobile that excites Jared so much. Its from IKEA. Guess I gonna make a trip down to IKEA tomorrow and buy it for Jared liao, since he loves it so much.

According to the calendar date, Jared is 4 months old today. He's grown so much and getting more & more alert nowadays.

He has many new stunts now. Firstly, I realised he will lift up his legs and use his hands to touch his toes nowadays. Amazingly, he can do it without much effort. Secondly, I find him very noisy lately cause he like to shout & coo in his own language whenever he's excited. Though we don't understand what he's talking about but we are glad to know that he's feeling very happy. Thirdly, he has this chewing motion. Apparently I thought he grabbed something to chew in his mouth but actually its not. He's just trying to be funny. LOL.. So cute of him. Last but not least, he loves to rub his legs against one another. I always stop him from doing that cause there are times when I realised his feet actually felt very warm. I guess its probably due to friction when he rubbed them. My silly boy ya.. ~

Oh yah, and he knows how to "ngggg nggg" with our assistance already. Whenever I hear his poo poo sound, I will say "nnggggg ngggg".. and he will imitate me.

Now that Jared has grown so much, I sort of missed those times when he was still a newborn cause he was so small. Hehehe..

As I was shopping around Takashimaya today, I heard a baby crying hysterically. As I walked near her (its a baby girl~!), she looks so small and I reckon she's not even full month yet. Her Daddy was carrying her and trying to soothe her, whereas an old lady (which I believe its the Graany) beside him was trying to help in comforting the crying baby. I could see how helpless they were & were busy looking for the Mummy but she was nowhere to be seen. The poor Daddy carried the baby around the whole of Level 3 in Takashimaya from the baby department to the tops department & back to the lingerie department. I hope the baby is alright though..nonetheless, she is so cute!

Its Jared's 4th lunar month today. Early in the morning, we gave Jared a drumstick for him to lick but he don't seems to like it at all cause he doesn't even wanna open his mouth. End up, the drumstick rice is my lunch lor. LOL.. But anyway we did pinched a little meat from the drumstick to put on his lip for his tongue to lick lar.. Luckily I bought the 烧鸡腿 cause it's my favorite!

The 华夏胎毛笔 guy came at 2pm sharp just now. We'd wanted to make a hairbrush for Jared after he had his hair shaved.. To my surprise, Jared was very well-behaved through out the shaving session. Apparently I thought he will make a fuss or cry out loud when he sees a stranger but he did not. Instead he was looking curiously at the china man who did the shaving for him. My brave little boy, you've grown up a lot and Mummy is so proud of you. hehehe..~

We chose a hairbrush set for Jared with his name, date of birth engraved as well as 4 chinese wordings which says, "平安是福". The fickle-minded me is still thinking whether should I change to another template which says, "健康快乐平安". Hahahah I better make up my mind soonest otherwise it'll be too late. By the way, the hairbrush box is sold seperately one lor. We chose 1 that is made of rosewood without any dragons engraving to make it more simpler. Will be collecting the hairbrush set in about 6 weeks' time.. Yipppee! Total damage for the day: $188

At Jared's 4th month;

He dislikes brightness. Hence he always use his smelly pillow to cover his eyes when he sleeps despite the curtains are already drawn down.
He's "eating' 3 fingers now. Sometimes he suck his thumb only and will produce those very delicious sound..
He pretend to look left & right then slowly putting his hands into his mouth when he knows that you are not looking at him.
He plays with himself in bed when he's awake. Many times, we spot him playing his fingers and sometimes pulling his shirt when he has already wake up.
He chuckles and laughs when we call his name.
He loves to sit inside his bath tub now when we bathe him.
He sleeps through the night from 10pm to 6am now.
He wants to hold his own milk bottle when we feed him.
He likes to drag his crying sound when he demands for different things.
He's not greedy. Refuse to drink more when he already had enough.

That's all I could think of now. Will update more if I'd missed out anything. ~~More pics will be uploaded when I have the time...~~

A little recap of my NYE and New Year day. Our family of 4, including my Mummy, dear baby, hubby & I was at home watching the TV on Channel 8, U and SCV for the countdown party. Despite its my 6th year with hubby but this is the 1st time we have each another's company on a NYE when the clock strikes at 12.

Dinner was steamboat yesterday at MIL's place cause it was her birthday. Apparently we did not bring Jared back cause he was still sound asleep when we were leaving the house. End up, he woke up for his feed when we were about to finish our steamboat. Luckily I have a considerate & efficient Mummy cause she's the one keeping me in the loop with what Jared is doing. Hubby drove back home & Mummy was waiting for us at the void deck with Jared. She handed over Jared to me and we went back to MIL's place again but little did I expect, Jared turned rather cranky & started making a fuss. I reckon he'd began to recognise the environment & faces cause he frown the moment he felt something/somewhere is wrong.

Sometimes, I really think that I can't handle Jared alone when he turns cranky. I felt like crying with him when I see him making a big fuss. Grrr.. wonder when will I ever gain more confident to bring him out sia. Actually, I'm thinking of getting a baby sling from MIM but ain't really sure if Jared likes it. Sigh.. I think Jared will be less cranky when he's inside a sling rather than being carried in our arms.

Anyway, Jared has more & more patterns nowadays. He's getting smarter & smarter (I did mentioned before that all babies are smart) each day and always full of surprises for us. Will do a brief updates next week when he turns 4mths old after we shaved his hair. Hehehe.. Weekend is here again but poor me gotta be on duty for both saturday & sunday.

Left home early this morning cause I forgotten to claim the FREE gift at Takashimaya yesterday after Hubby bought his Levis Jeans. Apparently the lady was quite reluctant to let me redeem my FREE gift cause I'm supposed to be claim it on the same day when we made our purchase. But, I heck care her & told her that no one inform me about this T&C, moreover it wasn't even stated on the signage or receipt. LOL.. In the end, I still managed to claim my FREE gift of course. Its a Elizabeth Arden skin protector. Hahaha...

Lunch was with Geraldine & CK at Lucky Plaza. The last time I saw Geraldine was during Jared's full month and how time flies, it was almost 3mths ago. The peeps accompanied me to Takashimaya again cause I wanted to get Jared another top from Petit Bateau. Its actually a reversible top and Jared can wear on both sides. For a reversible top from France at 74bucks before discount is quite worth the money I would say. In fact their baby & adult clothings are damn confortable, just that I find the price a little bit steep.

By the way, Toys'rus is having a 20% storewide today at all branches. Mummies, head down to Toys'rus and get your kids a new top for the new year bah. Yes, I'm going to the one at Paragon tomorrow. Hehehe.. Last but not least, FOX babies having sales too. 30% off on regular items & additional 15% if you pay by DBS credit/debit cards.

We brought Jared to town today! I would say today is his most well-behaved day cause he kept still inside his pram.. fell asleep on his own as and when he is tired. His Daddy still took his own sweet time trying out jeans at Levis & end up buying 2 pairs for CNY.

Mummy bought a nice pink shirt from GUESS Kids for Jared and he looks so dashing in it! Apparently we wanted to get the romper from Armani but the last piece was defective as the Armani logo was slightly scratched. Went over to Paragon and we bought Jared another top from FOX. My vain baby has so much new clothings now. Adding up today's purchase, Jared has 7 new tops; 3 from OldNavy, 2 from Polo Ralph Lauren, 1 from GUESS & 1 from FOX and 3 new bottoms; 2 from OldNavy & 1 from Polo Ralph Lauren already..

There are really lotsa nice clothings for Jared but he's gonna outgrown them very soon so I don't think its a good idea to get too much of them for him now. Luckily I stopped Mummy from getting the Burberrys shirt in time otherwise another big hole in her pocket! Hehehe..

Dinner was settled at the Soup Restaurant in Paragon. I'd been craving for their Samsui chicken for a long long time but hadn't got the chance to satisfy my craves. So hubby brought us there today! WOoohohoo..

Jared started his crankiness when inside the car. Guess he was as pek cek as us cause we were caught in a traffic jam on the BKE. LOL.. However he's yet happy and elated when we reached home after putting him down on the bed. I think he must be thinking, "Nice to be home!!". I will be working for half day only on New Year Eve and off on New Year! Hurray! Its bonding time with Little Jared again...

HoHoHo! Merry X'mas~*~*~*~*~*~

Its Jared's 1st X'mas and he's sure enjoying it at home cause of the cooling weather and nice TV show that keeps him entertained. LOL.. Nonetheless, Jared received his 2nd X'mas gift! Little Zantha, Zoey & Zaphen got Jared a nice pumpkin patch booties! Though they are tad too big (M size) but Jared loves them!

We had our exchange session this evening after the centre closed. Majority of us bought chocolates and we had nice Canadian Pizzas sponsored by Jenny.

Heheheh.. I rushed back home taking Bus 190. Luckily 4 of Bus 190 came together & the 1 that I boarded was actually empty! LOL..

Hubby supposed to be off tomorrow but he just came back telling us the bad news that, he gonna work at 4pm! Damn it.. the timing is like not-3-not-4 like that.. Where can we go sia?!

I'm urgently looking for the straw parts for Jared's Bfree bottle;

Grrr.. I'd been looking high & low for the straw parts but to no avail. Apparently Jared has 2 Bfree bottles (one 5oz & one 9oz) & he'd stopped using the 5oz now cause the straw is slightly worn out and the plastic seems to be peeling off. I reckon it isn't quite safe to continue using it cause anyway they need to be replaced every 6-8weeks.

It an expensive milk bottle I would say but holy shit, why is the parts so difficult to get? I managed to buy the spare teats at Kiddy Palace but the straw is not. Jared is now left with only one "working" Bfree bottle and its really a hassle to wash them after every feeds. Doom doom doom...

Before ending my entry, I've uploaded some pics of Jared. Finally snap him smiling.. hehe.. His hair is getting thinner and thinner everyday. I found strands of hair on his pillow & mattress every now & then. Hopefully his hair will grow nicer after his 1st shave on the 6th Jan 2009.

p/s: I must admit, Jared ain't really photogenic but he is super duper cute when you see him chuckles as you call out his name!

Jared is now 3 months and 11 days old;

He stares at the wall for a long long time when he's bored
He shouts when he's angry or seeking for attention
Lift up his head & legs when on tummy
Coo back at us when we play with him
Beginning to recognise faces
Laugh out loudly when Mummy massages his legs and hands
Likes to see himself in the mirror
Looking at the camera
Playing with his hands & fingers

My boy is growing day by day. Though I only get to play with him for less than 5hrs (excluding sleeping beside him) a day due to work but at least I know he's well-taken care of, by Mummy. I've even set his picture as my wallpaper in my office PC, as well as calling home every 2hourly to check how he is doing. Surprisingly, he seems much more obedient when I'm not at home. I reckon he's trying to get my attention and wants me to play with him bah. Hehhe..

Lately he'd been falling asleep in my arms whenever I come home. Looking at how sweetly he sleeps, I know he likes my smell. LOL.. Anyway, I've already plan for my January schedule.

On the 6th Jan, I'll ask the HuaXia people to come and have his hair shave.

On the 13th Jan, will be bringing him for 2nd dose of Hexa (6in1) & 3rd (also the last) dose Rotateq.

On the 17th Jan, will be bringing him for 2nd dose of Peunomococcal.

Wedding dinner last night at Fort Canning, The Legends was so-so.. Anyway, Hubby's relatives said they still prefer the food from Peony Jade where we held our wedding at. And they are anticipating to attend one more time when Jared turns 1 year old. OMG! Want my our life meh? Celebrating Jared's 1st birthday at Peony Jade will costs us a bomb lor.. Hahaha..and Hubby's side has got so many relatives!~

Anyway, took lotsa pictures with Jared yesterday afternoon while waiting for time to pass. Apparently, I have lousy photography skills lah cause I cannot aim properly so most of the pics I took turned out to be not-centralised de.

Nevertheless, we took 2 "decent" pics in the morning before I went out to work. Take a look at my Little Jared, he looks so chubby but yet he's not when you see in real person~!

Realised I don't put on any make up nowadays? Firstly I'm been very lazy to put on make up anymore. Secondly, I'm always rushing to work every morning. Thirdly, I don't wanna ruin my face by applying make up cause eventually when my T-zone gets oily, I will get outbreaks easily. Ehhh, not trying to be boastful but really don't know why my complexion suddenly become soooooOoo good after I gave birth & my face is si bei fair now lor (except my dark eye bags and eye rings). I can leave the house without make up now and I don't feel uncomfortable! Yippppe!! Probably I should say "Thanks" to my breast milk cause I cleanse my face everyday with my breast milk too. LOL!!

I'm so god damnNnn tired. It has been a long day though we only worked for half a day due to stock take. Spent the rest of the few hours at boss's place for the advance Xmas celebration. We had the function room booked and the guys played Amazing Race inside the pool. Nevertheless, buffet catering was planned and lucky draw! Everyone of us walked away with a prize and we were shouting and yelling during the whole event. My voice is going hoarse now.. omg! Apparently I won a bluetooth headset lah but I don't fancy any bluetooth gadget. Well, don't know what to do with it. LOL.. Moreover, its a freaking old model which I doubt its worth more than 50bucks now?

CK was kind enough to send me back in his cousin's car thus I reach home no later than any other working days. Little Jared was sound asleep when I stepped in but woke up shortly after I had my bathe, as if he knows Mummy is back! Hehehe... Of course I miss him lots too but I always make it a point to have my shower first before touching/carry him.

He's growing so well and rapidly everyday. Lately, he gets more & more distracted with the things around him. Just the other day when we brought him back to MIL's place (a few blocks away), he kept turning his head left & right, left & right, left & right as hubby's car moves along..cause he's looking at the rain trees outside the window. Not only that, he still knows how to adjust his body by turning sideway and kick the hanging rattle that is hanging above him when we placed him in his butterfly gym.. Very smart boy, ain't he?

Anway, I will be on half day tomorrow to come back and prepare for Justin's wedding dinner at Fort Canning. Really hope to spend more time with Jared. Grr.. anticipating for the arrival of weekends!

Boss announced a bad news to us at the Xmas celebration earlier on. Well, most probably we won't be getting any AWS, let alone the bonus. Si bei sad news lor.. everyone was so demoralised. Sighh...

Wooohoo.. finally changed a new skin. Got a big problem removing that sickening white text backgrd. Anyone can help me? I want the text backgrd to be transparent. Anyway, I'd replaced the header into Jared's photo. He ain't smiling again! My naughty little boy seldom smile at the camera one, I also don't understand why? Although he stays still at the count of 1, 2, 3.. but he doesn't put on a smile. He only smiles after he sees the flashlight, which is tad too late. LOL..

Now that he's in his 3rd month, I have started using the Pigeon Mag Mag training cup on him since he has the habit of "trying" to hold his own milk bottle during feeding time. Oftenly he's startled by the warm feeling on the milk bottle so I reckon Mag Mag is suitable for him cause it has 2 handles which is much more easier for him. Nonetheless, I'd also bought the F1rst Teeth baby toothpaste (Banana & Apple Flavour) for him too. Been wanting to get this for him ever since I saw it at Guardian Pharmacy when he was still a newborn. As the box states that the toothpaste is only for infant above 3months old so I only bought it now. The toothpaste is freaking expensive I would say. It costs me a whopping 21bucks and its such a small tube, compared to the adult Darlie's toothpaste lor. Sigh.. everything is so expensive now. But for the sake of Jared, I must bite my teeth to go through these..

Brought Jared to Lot One this afternoon. The weather was good & cooling enough.. I thought it would be a good day to bring him out since he fancy "cold cold" very much. Generally he's well-behaved throughout the few hours we were at Lot One. At least I still get to try out my Levi's Jeans for almost an hour & shopping at Kiddy Palace. We wanted to put him in the baby carrier and see if he likes it but he cried the minute we put him in cause he poo-ed. LOL..

Anyway, we'll try him again when his head is 100% steady. Right now, he's only 95% steady so I don't wanna strain his neck too much.
